Awesome review Grant, the last 1/144 Gramps I've built was HG The Origin which is my current fav but I'll probably change my mind after acquiring the RG 2.0 down the line.

Very nice backlog of kits. GP02 is also one I want, and the Bael was not a kit I had seen before, so that was added to the wishlist. At the moment I'm waiting on an order from USAGS, got the HG Ez8, HG GP03, HG Astray Blue Frame, HG Strike Rouge (though not the one you showed here with the IWSP), HG Aegis Gundam, and the HG Gundam MK 2 Titans Colors. Though the MK 2 is holding up the order, so I probably will put another order in. Thinking of the HG Duel Assault Shroud, HG Blitz, HG Unicorn Destroy mode, adding in the HG Bael now, and for my first RG, thinking of the RG Astray Red Frame. What's crazy is there is still 30+ kits I want lol.

Backlogs are cringe

This is definitely the best version of the real grade granddaddy because it doesn't fall apart, it doesn't become very loose and it doesn't explode. The only negative I can say is the design aspect of it is a little too much and it feels a little bit too bloated in areas but outside of that if you wanted a real grade version of the grand daddy then this is the best one to get....... Still pretty pissed that we went from something as great as this, the epiyon and a good chunk of the other modern real grades to something as garbage and lazy as the Akatsuki where they just went backwards and we were back to Early Real Grade Syndrome.

When July hits, time to add some Gundam Mini's to the backlog lol.

Amazon is actually notorious for doing what they did to your dagger gunbarrel. I got the RG Sazabi and HG Zaku II revive from them and they just used the actual boxes as the shippers 💀 it’s pretty annoying

Sorry to disappoint you but the option parts set for the RG RX-78-2 2.0 is sold out on the P-Bandai website. If you had tried about a few weeks ago you could have gotten it. I bought it at the beginning of December and I received it the day after Christmas. Those are some great looking kits. I have a huge backlog of HG, RG, MG, and PG. I have some of the same kits in my backlog that you have like the RX-78-GP-02 and the Strike Rouge I.W.S.P. and I have 2 PG Zaku 2 (Char and standard versions), PG MK 2, PG Astray Red Frame Kai, and more than 60 HG kits, more than 20 RG kits, and more than 20 MG kits. It’s a fun hobby, but talk about the backlog buildup.😅

hg kyoukai senki is pretty underated, not gonna lie and the same designer for these meacha are the same with the gundam witch from mercury and i really dig that and i have the hg gundam calibarn fighting the the brady phantom on an action base customize for it because i like the design and also might as well tell you this now but i would rather get all of the hg and full mechanics and wapon set of kyoukai senki on discount right now while we still can before its all gone and bandai might not reprint them in the near future that my proposal Opinion but you do you.

you know, back in 2020, I think I got into gunpla again by one of the reviews of rg Nu gundam, and so I decided to buy both the rg nu gundam and rg sazabi at the same time and does kit are amazing it's feel like a mini mg ver ka but better so yah that how the story goes p.s when ever you get the new gundam seed movie hgs I really want to see rasing freedom gundam with the gundam helios back pack on becuase i don't see alot of people doing it and i only hav ethe hg helios gundam but i have to wait for the rasing freedom gundam and the mg narrative gunam ver ka on next 2 weeks becuase they sold out so yah that why i want to see how its look with the helios back pack on the rasing freedom .

The 1/100 model wasn’t that bad. The touch ups weren’t that different from MG strike freedom; the knuckles and around the wings. Not the greatest articulation, but came with both back packs

What a ridiculous choice by Bandai to go back to the not so advanced MS joint frame. Are they that out of touch with their customers or just going for the lazy cash grab. The last few new RGs I built were awesome. The Hi Nu, the Wing, Zeong. All solid kits. I don't get it!

Yup I've seen the vids of the RG Akatsuki dilemma and will only grab it on deep discount not retail. I've built HG Akatsuki Oowashi and it's decent enough. I might just grab the RG Shiranui backpack modifying it to fit the HG if I can't find the RG for under $40 during Sales.

Gotta love the gaudy, super shiny gold. Makes sense to wear gloves when handling them.

Ah, those two are on my wishlist too. The Strike Exceed for sure, with the clear armor parts.

It would be pretty funny if a Marasai flipped his Fedayeen and tried to attack a Z2, but then the Z2 makes a bayonet from the bigger beam gun when the spies and battle reports said it couldn't. A moment of shock. Perished in the light of beams. Pew pews in the distance, like crikets.
