I legit REMEMBER seeing this video in 2008 when i first started listening to SS. what a excellent interview still. i was a huge fan of this band band in the day and i’ll never forget the time i told Lucker i loved him. Glad this video is still on youtube

@theblizzard32 When did I say deathcore invented breakdowns? And it's not a knock off it's just a different type of metal, it's kinda hard to be 100% original, all I said was old metal bands aren't the soul reason this genre is around.

@PWD65 Dude Deathcore is such a knock off of metal. Every single element of it has been done in metal before. Sometimes I swear you people act as if deathcore invented breakdowns. which it did NOT. Metal breakdowns have been around for a long time. For example, Metallica - One back in 88. Dark Angel had some shit in one of their records as well. Than Pantera in CFH with songs like Domination. But the bands that pretty much made that sound are. Sepultura, Suffocation, Meshuggah, Cryptopsy.

@buckoff704 Well you should know, if you are are intelligent in the metal area, that they basically started Groove Metal. Than Sepultura made a groove type record a couples years after CFH and so on.

@PWD65 Pantera didn't do it. Someone else did. Pantera started out in glam metal and then switched to thrash metal but they arent even responsible for thrash. Slayer was kicking ass when pantera was still in makeup. Pantera started nothing. They may have built onto something but thats all. They do however kick ass. Anyway i concur. Some people act as if pantera and only pantera are responsibile for every form of metal known to man. Wtf?
