Hi! Really good videos on defender towing uphill 🙌 I live in Norway and consider buying 110 td5 for towing mini digger (2t plus trailer 1t)thru the steep tunnels ( steepest part is 8.5%. Length of the incline about 1.8km)😅 do you think 110 td5 cc is a good choice for that type of towing? Thanks in advance for any tips 🙏

@@markward553 where did you get it from if you don't mind me asking as my local dealers only sell smaller cc or non road legal. And is yours agricultural insured? As some insurance companies I have looked at only insure smaller quads. Thanks

Bro going up that hill, on the second head pin, we got stuck behind a land rover who couldn't get up. His wheels were smoking and we had to burn tires to get to the top and help him. Never doing that again

Is the generator able to cope with power requirements for the likes of spindle motor ramping up?
@markward5534 жыл бұрын
It will ramp up but not has good has main supply , i think a bigger generator would, mine is still running two machines five days a week

I have a Bridgeport vmc600 and a 30kva generator and having a lot of issues getting it running. I thought my generator wasn’t big enough but going by your setup it’s more than big enough
@callyevans94984 жыл бұрын
Are you running directly from the generator or are you using a transformer then a power board?

I towed a (hired) 16’ Sprite Major caravan up Porlock hill in 1981, with a 1965 S2a SWB Land Rover, fitted with the 2 ¼ diesel engine. The motor was well worn & we just made using 1st gear high range.
@y4nnickschmitt5 жыл бұрын
Pretty impressive I think. If the engine survives that, it survives anything.

I pulled a similar weight in my 200tdi up a huge hill in lakes, by time I got to the top the temp guage was just near hitting the red. for a time I was close to pulling over to cool off, it was amazing though when I got over the hilltop and picked back up some speed and got the air flowing over the engine again how fast the engine temp came back down to norm operating temp.
