The only thing Harry Enfield is NOT good at is celebrity impressions - his portrayals of Kate Moss and Ian Wright just did not cut it. He was excellent at all other sorts of skits though. Best leave celeb impressions and suchlike to Alistair McGowan and his main colleague Ronni Ancona.

I like this clip for the historical context it gives us about how things were broadcast at the time (film reels and how they'd be cut and spliced back together, and sometimes those joins would cause... issues). But also with how the continuity announcer was allowed to adlib a little bit on the problem, which I feel nowadays would be DISCOURAGED for the sake of "seeming professional" or something. I've noticed more recent clips from the BBC especially tend to have more seemingly pre-recorded generic ' fault announcements'. Channel 4 still seems to encourage their announcers to have a little fun with it, or so I've seen. And honestly, I prefer it that way. It adds that human element.
