Delicate Wings is the April 2024 Kit. What is the May 2024 kit?

I don't use bright blues very often and would like to use them more. Stamping out colors together is definitely helpful to figure out where to go with color selection. Love the bright colors you ended up choosing for your second card. Reminds me a little of the July 2023 Paper Pumpkin. There was a starfish in that one! Thanks for all of these videos, Sue! So helpful, and lots of inspiration!

Now that I can really see them together, I love the Shaded Spruce with Shy Shamrock! Gorgeous background stamping. I love how a background stamp or die can help make a fast, striking card.

Peach pie and Pumpkin pie really are gorgeous together. I know I should be thinking about summer cards but I just love the earthy fall colors. This Peach pie would be good for summer too, though! I just love the card you made! I've been in a stamp/stencil mood lately, so it's fun to see another idea for that technique. Good call on punching the layers out of your mat layer. I've sometimes cut almost the whole center out when I'm running low on a certain color of cardstock! I just use a square die to cut it out. Even with the price increase, though, the Stampin' Up cardstock is still a good deal, I think. It's such good quality and you get a lot of sheets.

I don't use ephemera packs very often (except in Paper Pumpkin, which is slightly different), but I can see how they can be handy for creating quick cards. They're often nice for mixed media projects too, a technique I haven't really done much of. I find it interesting though! I need practice to learn how to layer precut pieces like this so that it looks good. Appreciate the catalog intro!

Love, love, love the way you adapted the tackle box dies to make a general cover die for a card! I'm going to try to adapt the September Paper Pumpkin stamp set and the Thanks a Bunch Sale-a-bration stamp set to recreate something similar with a basic rectangle. That Thanks a Bunch set has a really nice leaf stamp that I just discovered! Thanks for the inspiration. All of these cards are fabulous!

It's such a joy to sit down at the craft table and have some of the cutting and stamping done -- a little stack of pieces ready to put on a card and an idea already in mind about what to make. Making your own card kit is a great way to do that! Thanks for sharing your ideas. I think the kits you put together for single cards are really nice, so it's fun to see your idea expanding to fill up a box for multiple card ideas. Thanks for sharing!

Love your alternatives, Sue! I'm still working in this kit because I love the add-on dies so much. Things I like about Paper Pumpkin: It challenges my creativity (I always make alternatives), it helps me build up my stamp collection with great stamps, and it results in a nice stack of cards for me to mail out or save for future occasions. I share your critiques about the card bases, but I always use them as DSP, so it's not really a drawback. I often add cardstock to the back of the sentiment tags and then fussy cut them or make a layered tag so that those are a bit sturdier. I appreciate the extras! Also, I'm catching up on your recent videos! Thanks for sharing!

I really like this card! I get really excited by cards that have motion or a bit of trickiness. The colors you used are really sweet. For the cutting, you might also be able to line up the die at the end of the cutting platform so that a nearly full sandwich ends up going through the machine. In other words, the portion that doesn't need to be cut would hang off the end of the platform or just barely be beyond the trailing end of the cutting plate. In this case that would be most of the cardstock, I guess, so perhaps that's a bit awkward. But I've had to do things that way on occasion!
