Absolutely stunning! Definitely drew a tear or two. Unfortunate that the vocals were muted, but guitars were clear. Wonderful to see a stage full of outstanding musicians working together to bring joy to the audience.

Whoever was mixing sound either doesn't like Samantha's voice, or was out getting a beer during this. I think her guitar soloing was pretty adventurous, as opposed to playing it safe. Warren has played this song a lot more than Samantha has, that's why she played kind of minimally most of the time.

The mix is off a bit. Warren had plenty of faith in Samantha's talent, or she would not be there.

Yeah, Sam is usually much more balls-out (ovaries-out?) than this! I've seen her jam with Buddy Guy and with Joe Satriani, and she tore it up, but here she seemed almost hesitant. For her. Star-struck is exactly the feeling I was getting.

I was at the show the night before this. They did 3 nights in a row to open the new venue. Really sorry I missed this song. Warren really did it justice.

I love it when Robert Randolph just goes OFF. It is HARD to be good on a pedal steel, and he is giant among them. There's an old joke that goes "what does a pedal steel player say after he's been playng for 20 years? You know,, I think I'm getting the hang of this."
