That move that Aron does so well on defense. Keeping the blade out while moving back, then leaning forward to hit the head and do a 4 parry, turning his back shoulder away to minimize target. Does anyone know just what that move is called? I've been teaching it to my students for years, and normally refer to it as Attack in Prep, Parry After. But there has to be a more catchy name. Like the counterattack to the wrist done with a high arm. It was a few years before I learned that was called Skyhook. Anybody?

I always thought a blockout is where you extend the strong of your blade, and guard, into the opponent's prep, keeping them from finishing. Poor ref has to call it parry riposte. I get the insurance part.

I'd call it an attack in prep with a follow on parry 4 to make sure the opponent's blade never hits, thus ensuring a lockout. It's not a minimizing target tactic.

I don't know if he'd actually do good at the Olympics... Edit: Guys I'm just trolling. He's my favourite fencer. He's just so clean, no excess movement and a pleasure to watch. The koreans have brought a new style, that is very efficient, but a bit cheesy to me. While Áron just shows how the og, textbook style can still be viable.

Yeah, I mean, two consecutive golds probably isn't worth much
