I know this was posted a bit ago, but I was wondering if you used batting with scrim? Thank you

I think this is really cool. Ilike the look of it. I was hoping to do a faux gold leaf on glass sign. I guess this isn't the right material to use. But I can think of other uses for it. Cool!

I love this project! I was at college, I did weaving a few good projects for my own designs because I only made the effort to use the yarn on this project as scarves, hats, etc. It's very easy to make and I think it's a good idea to get the fine motor skills to be confident that I have. It's brilliant!!!! 👏

Hey can anyone tell me how can we permanently hold this colours to fabric
@PattieWackDesigns2 жыл бұрын
For a more permanent hold on the colors, purchase PFD fabric, or choose cotton fabric that has been washed to get out the sizing, then soak fabric in a solution of 2 parts white vinegar and 1 part water.water. Rinse and dry fabric. Do the flower pounding as shown in the video, then heat set with an iron.
@omandisaranya80012 жыл бұрын
@@PattieWackDesigns can u explain whats mean by heat set with an iron ??
@PattieWackDesigns2 жыл бұрын
@@omandisaranya8001 Yes, simply iron the fabric on the highest setting for the type of fabric you are using.

You mentioned some sort of supply sheet? What size elastic? How to make this more masculine? I need it for my disabled adult son who is unable to try his own feet well. In other words an adaptive after shower "tool" for self-care.
@PattieWackDesigns3 жыл бұрын
Joan, the supply sheet mentioned was from about 20 years ago when we were making videos as part of a subscription for DVDs with project sheets that were mailed to members. We eventually loaded the unedited videos to KZbin so that everyone could view them. Sorry for the confusion. As for the elastic, I used 1/4-inch wide elastic. I'm not sure how to make the slippers more masculine, except to choose wash cloths without any trim, and a color suitable for the person you're making them for. I hope that helps, and thank you for watching!
@PattieWackDesigns3 жыл бұрын
Oh, and to make the slippers more masculine, you could omit the pompoms. Happy Crafting!
