That's not a bad price! The trailer and engines are worth that, so a free hull! I scrap glass boats... aluminum boats are just too repairable to junk! Subbed for ya!

Umm sir. Those wire nuts are not designed for multi strand wire on an object that’s moving. I’m sure your record of comebacks shows this to be true
@Imbored-aw2 ай бұрын
I really appreciate the concern, these wire nuts are designed for solid and stranded wires, and the failure rate of these far outperforms butt connectors, and other crimp style connectors. Our record of comebacks over the past 35 years has shown this a clear winner, only to be topped by solder and heat shrink with dielectric grease. Thanks for watching!

For anyone that cares regarding fuel. I have a 2011 mercruiser 4.3 with carburetor. The carb had never been apart until 2024 I figured it’s due some cleaning and figured it be full of varnish and gunk since I never run anything but 87. Took it apart clean as a whistle pulled jets perfectly clean so put it back together. I owe it to Startron Enzyme fuel treatment I run it in my gas religiously. 14 years and not a speck of dirt. So my recommendation run Startron and keep filters changed.

@Imbored-aw2 ай бұрын
Yea the customer was 1300 miles from home when he blew the front bearing and destroyed the threads on the spindle and had no other option, special order axle, no spindles available nearby, had to keep it from coming off so he could make it back home where his mechanic had an axle, just a temporary get ya home fix
@Imbored-aw2 ай бұрын
He was planning to replace the axle regardless
@fire-ue3du2 ай бұрын
@@Imbored-aw i hope he doesnt have to replace the wheel bearing too because just in case you didnt know if you weld on something where bearings are touching the grounded work piece it can make the rolling surfaces in the bearings inside arc and run choppy (even for a short tac) all that said i do see that this is a quick fix from the comments and the axle being chewed up so i get it although i never seen a castle nut like that before, kinda strange
