Pretty decent box all things considered! Personally if a set doesn’t have a decent land cycle, I don’t open it often. Creatures and spells get power crept out. But lands, like war, never changes. 😉

I'm with you on the upcoming sets this year, with the added caviat that I never played Final Fantasy, never really liked JRPGs at all, so have no interest in that set. I always liked Marvel, including Spiderman (although he is far from my favorite), but I am completely not interested in that set either. The only thing on their list of upcoming sets that I'm even remotely interests me is Tarkir Dragonstorm. I LOVED the original Tarkir block and hope that this set can be as good. Also, if the TBA UUB set turns out to be Avatar: The Last Airbender I'll be all in, and it might even get my oldest daughter (who disdains mtg) to try the set out since she's a huge Avatar fan.

@0:25 - Why would you think that Innistrad Remastered would be awful? The best plane that Wizards ever created with dozens of great characters and card to pull from? It would only not be good if Wizards purposely made it bad.

I have yet to get a box of this product due to my hiatus, but from what I can see, it seems pretty deep but a little weaker than MH2 in some ways. I wanted to build Nadu once I saw him, then found out he was banned.. sad day.. which I have mixed feelings concerning the ban list. In my house, Jeweled Lotus is not banned. Thanks POA for another opening and for your thoughts!

I agree with you about the points of this product- the CBs are loads of fun! The play boxes are more meh, but still pretty good. I stopped playing FF games after beating 7 and Tactics- I just couldn’t get into 8 for some reason… so not super excited there (unless they print the OG Black Mages with the pointy hats!!!) Spider-Man, while cool, hasn’t really ever been my jam. On the flip side, Venom is my jam! Soo I’m a bit torn there.. Thanks for the opening POA!

Pretty wild to think back before RavR came out and we were talking about how bad it was gonna be but how InnR was gonna be even worse. We might have been a bit wrong? 😅 Gotta give Wizards credit when it's due, they seem to have found the right formula for ReMastered sets.
