The british accent is so confusing. What if someone does not hear the platform reached when it is announced?

First time in London here with family, I took the underground tube all with the help of Google that guided me to the correct lines and platforms, super helpful and accurate. It’s pretty straightforward and fast to use…but quite chaotic and stressful with young kids in push chairs (I wouldn’t recommend using the tube with children in the push chairs/buggies because in most underground stations there is no lift available and there are many stairs up and down so it’s difficult to carry each time, and you have to mind the large gap between the platform and the tube so be careful with kids!) I recommend taking the bus with kids in buggies. Also travel in off peak hours.

In Europe healthcare is a basic public service, like public infrastructure, public education, police, etc - their tax money goes towards all that. So what’s the best way to keep public health costs down? Robust good quality food regulations.

I'm biracial and English so this is very interesting to me to see black Americans here and who want to be here. I've always wanted to live in California and a lot of black british people wanted to live in America for decades because it seemed more racially diverse and openly discussed race versus here where the racism is covert. It's really nice to see your mentality towards England and very inspiring too. It helps me see my country in a new and positive light.

Hi. Why is the deposit limit on oyster £10? What if the distance I have to travel costs more?
@GraysonVoisinet9 ай бұрын
There is a max cap limit per day around 8 or 9 pounds. So you can travel as much as you want in a day without paying more than the daily max. But you would have to refill the again for the next day if you have used most of the credit. Just make sure you have at least around 10 pounds per day. Personally, I just use contactless credit or debit card because Oyster card costs 7 pounds and non refundable.
@Andmorecorruption9 ай бұрын
Actually oyster cards are not needed and cheaper to use apple pay or google pay
@GraysonVoisinet9 ай бұрын
but it is a great option for those who doesn't have contactless cards or smart pay

I’m not sure if you know but… 1. There’s Americans living in England, that will not be going back home. 2. There’s also Brits that actually like American food but many restaurants in London do a horrible job of recreating it 💕✨
@ojhh12121210 ай бұрын
@@DebbieBarringer-l8d there are only 11 states that are bigger than the uk tho? out of all 50… distance is also relative, cambridge, nottingham and bath are not near to london… that’s like saying newyork is close to california because the entirety of america can fit inside a single russian state (sakha)…
