hey my man gotta 2015 r-spec here and the lockout is killlllling meeee. just to clarify you have the leash, trans mount, short throw shifter, and bushings right? and after a year they hold on well? i’ve seen some people only get a mount and still lockout

I already knew that specific question would be a concern. And the direct answer to the question is, “it doesn’t”. I understand that, and other people like me understand it as well. But this video is for the majority of us that don’t understand the answer. The ones that deal with the obstacles more than me, and the ones that don’t see a clear way to get into it. The question is a loaded question with a lot of loaded answers, and I’d love the discussion topic, just not typing lol. Hope this helps🫡

Smaller k&n cylinder filter will fit better. Looks not so great without the light. Put the light back in and take out the other plastic portion .

That rear window change is FUGLY. I gave owned an all original 1971 240Z since 1976 and will NEVER sell it. Hoping one day to get a 1970, 1972, 1973, 1978 280Z and a 1980 280Zx. I really love the first and secong generation Zs. Saw my first 2024 Nissan 400Z last week at a gas station and really enjoyed ralking Z Cars for almost a half hour. The owner had just purchased it a few days earlier for his 50th birthday the following day. Thanks for showing me around yoir car, Robbie, and Happy Birthday.

Not gonna lie… Unless you don’t mind continually replacing the rubber band that connects the pins, I’d advise you to go a slightly different route. It’s very similar to install, but the quick release buttons might be a better way to go. amzn.to/3yyRvGp I did post a short on it, but it was a while ago.. Didn’t record a full video

Manifold riser increases hp and torque by seperating the upper and lower with a heat barrier between. The lower im has a coolant crossover built into it that soaks heat. For real gains 1- phenolic spacer between upper and lower 2- heat shield the underside of your upper im 3- bypass the coolant feed into your throttlw body 4- exhaust with downpipes 5- tune. Coilovers are more for appearance, short shifter is for feel, headers are a waste if your going na and actually lose you power. If your going wheels find one lighter than the stock wheel every pound of rotational mass lost is 4 pounds of weight the car doesnt have to push. Ignore the lightweight crank pulley as the stock unit has a damper built in, but the alternator and pump lightweight pulleys are good to use. Get more traction by looking into the third differential mount so your launch and grip is better.

Hey! I'm only getting into modifying my car, I was wondering why coilovers are only for looks in your appearance? Doesn't a suspension change from stock help for handling, assuming you're getting good parts?

@alexambroise111 lowering the car brings the center of gravity down and does improve some but it also requires you keep up on the alignment and depending on the car you might need subframe risers and collars to keep the suspension geometry even. The Genesis coupe especially has soft rubber mounts and when lowered brings the suspension geometry away from perpendicular so you end up need collars to keep the subframe from shifting out of alignment and risers to bring it back to an even plane. It's 90% for looks, getting fatter wheels like say going from 19x8 to 19x9 or 10 will help as much and paired with grippy tires will do more for you. Focus on getting intake temps down and the exhaust flowing free first, then get stiffer mounts so the engine doesn't flex under hard acceleration and launch. Then lighter wheels with wider tires and then go for that last bit of traction by lowering.
