hi, I have a cayenne 3.2 and the rear of my car is in the air and the front sometimes goes up and down. But the rear is always in the air and never comes down. I changed the shock absorber valve but nothing happened. Where do you think the problem is? Thank you very much.

It doesn't help that insurance companies and extended warranty companies are allowed to underpay the tech who gets the short end of the stick. Flat rate is old and needs to go away. When young people find out that they have to do a job for less money than they should get, almost nothing will retain them at that point.

Question: Rather than use a breaker bar in conjunction with the special crank pulley holder tool, can I use my Millwaukee high torque impact wrench (2767) to remove the crank pulley bolt after locking the crankshaft and camshafts with the camshaft alignment timing tool?

I'm confused. You used the mV setting to test mA draw at the battery and used same setting to test mV at the fuses.

I have a 2006 rrs supercharged... My car was fine and out of boredom i selected calibrate anti roll option then i got e 7 error code and my red suspension light is on... Everything still works ie suspension goes up an down etc but now the red light stays on and fault code C 1 A00-54 - Control module - System programming failure - missing calibration (AB)... 😮... Any advice please 🙏

Chris, great webinar info. I’m a UPS pilot with a love of German cars and am a novice mechanic. I recently acquired a 2015 VW CC with 74k miles with the 2.0 TSI motor. Has random misfire codes and presented on day one a cranand camshaft position sensor fault. I bought it thinking oh, easy, change some sensors, or spark plugs and coil packs. Wrong. Learned about oil and carbon build up, media blasted, cleaned everything, serviced all injectors bench checked. New intake manifold and still have rough idle and rough running until about 3000 rpm. Then it all smooths out and it runs perfectly. I am guessing here that the one time the chain skipped a tooth and showed thr cam and crank codes. I reset them and replaced the sensors, probably they weren’t bad, and they don’t return as it only skipped one time. And no bent valves yet! So I either have screen failure and or chain skipped time. I checked my chain is only -.5 on stretch and being a 2015 it should have newer tensioner installed. Because car is running I’m thinking to just open top cam cover and remove cam tower bracket. What is your opinion of the Dorman bracket that has an updated stainless drilled and welded style screen that supposedly won’t ever fail. Or just use a VW one without a screen? And if I remove all screen bits, should I replace the solenoid valve that fits in the intake cam if any small metal particles get in there?

Remove the bridge and inspect the screen. If it’s there more than likely the cam is ok. Look for stretched chain or a failed tensioner

Mega . Thanks . 1 question . By rest . ( Parking ) where is the pressure on the system ? On the ventilblock or on the kompressor? My car goes down on the back 40-40mm and front 10-10 after 3-4 days . I checkt leaks , nothing . Is it the pump maybe? Any Ideas ?
