Really appreciate Terry's revelation about the Hellbent. He went on to use them further in his X-Man series, specifically #39-52, so I'm wondering if it's worth getting Phil back for a review of those issue to see if it provides more pieces to Terry's puzzle? Also, given Seth the Immortal (i.e. Seth Phalkon), was created by Terry, have you given consideration that he intended the character to draw his abilities from residue of the “PHALKON” power from his X-Men Spotlight: Starjammers which Dave Cockrum drew? This power was revealed to be the Phoenix Force, so could it have been his intention to suggest that the power his Knights Templar were originally protecting was the Phoenix Force?

Great presentation for the figure, and thanks for posting the video to follow along! I REALLY love this figure, it is my favorite Moon Knight figure by miles...9 out of 10 for me. I too would have loved to see an Oscar head and maybe more weapons, but that most likely have driven up the price. He looks so badass on display. I agree, not a toy for very young kids to appreciate, I'd say 7 and up as well. Personally, I really prefer the off-white colorization, that pure white looks cool on the comic page, but it doesn't translate to reality and looks unrealistic and goofy to me. I also don't have that loose head issue on mine, I get a solid "pop" when taking it on and off and it sits there firm. Make sure the cape is pressed down when snapping it on? Maybe just a manufacturing thing?

The art was a little bit better, but yeah, it's just marginally acceptable. I really can't believe anyone thinks this art is good or something to be celebrated.

GREAT episode guys, kicking off the New Year strong with another banger! I enjoyed the finale, it nailed what I wanted most from the issue: Moon Knight being a BAD ASS! 😎 And I love when Moonie gets a chance to "flex" with his Warrior Priest abilities! I agree with you guys in that the Midnight Mission should have a resident cat...But shouldn't there possibly be one already?? I recall in one the the Black White & Blood stories; the one where Marc takes on a cult of Bastet, he has a stray cat pal, that seemingly tries to warn him of danger, who he feeds and let's into his apartment?

I like the original series it was awesome he is a unique character and the characters that appeared in the comics were also unique unfortunately the 80s movie didn't do Howard any justice

I kinda wish they kept the stories to just 2 rather than 3, so they could do a bit more to flush them out...Looking at that 3rd story I REALLY hope they get a resident cat for the Midnight Mission. Not only because it would be fellow creature of the night, but also because the ties to ancient Egypt...Cats in ancient Egypt were considered to be sacred, and the gatekeepers between the land of the living and the realm of the dead, which is particularly fitting for out hero. Plus, how cool would it look; Mr. Knight sitting in his high back chair, like a boss, legs crossed, stroking a cat in his lap, with both their eyes glowing?

It's always fascinating hearing Leyna's comments, but getting it straight from the source is even better! 😀 I also agree about the consensus concerning Jake; it makes so much more sense that he is not the most "violent" of the bunch...Although he rubs elbows with shady characters, he is a man of the people and has been shown in the past to be quite apt in developing trusting relationships with the people...And wasn't it Jake that had the wheel in the Vengeance run, when he wanted to conduct Moon Knight more like a "superhero" and refrain from lethal enforcing?

AMAZING episode guys! I've yet to pick up my copy so the visual aids here are MUCH appreciated! It really looks like were about to sink our teeth into a proper vampire arc. Long overdue, since Moon Knight has dealt with pretty much every other creature of the night out there. Do I smell a Blade crossover in the not too distant future?? FYI, that sword he uses in this issue is a Khopesh, an ancient Egyptian style sword from the Bronze Age. Again GREAT show guys!

For some reason I just think Zodiac just really wants Moon Knight to do him very dirty. To me, he just wants to be a villain that makes Moon Knight not show any mercy and I guess he is a switch between being a sadist and masochist? I think what makes him very frustrating (is a good way) is that he wants the wild berserk madman Moon Knight even if his plans do seem rather predictable and doable for Moon Knight to deal with. But there is always just that chance of Zodiac's plans being too good for Moon Knight sometimes. He's a unique villain that wants his cake to eat even though the cake may seem far off. But the thrill of trying to get that cake is reward enough for Zodiac. It's just that he's a brat about it too when his plans fail which makes him funny.

I'd say Blood Red Glider would've been the perfect first story. It felt like a random comic story that you'd find randomly in a local store and to me it kinda felt rushed. It has very good artwork though and makes me think I'm watching a random war comic that is not associated with Marvel/DC until Moon Knight appears. The Empty Tomb would've been a good segway story to build off Marc's perspective of things and sorta explore more of what he actually thinks underneath. While A Hard Knight's Day would've been the most rewarding story to end off on. It had much polish and enjoyment to make someone feel good from their purchase of the Black, White, and Blood issue #2. Plus it would make the MCU Moon Knight fans be thrilled of seeing their MOON BOIS!!!!!

Another fantastic review and discussion guys! Very interesting theory about Zodiac being sponsored by Khonshu to manipulate Marc...I have my doubts about this because if there is one thing Khonshu hates with all his being it's chaos, which seems to be Zodiac's bread and butter.

Great review guys! Coming off the high from the Disney + series, it's truly a welcome comfort to return to these amazing comic reviews to fill that void. I had no idea this was an anthology of short stories...Reminds me of a Marvel Fanfare or a Heavy Metal Magazine, very interesting. Very hard to craft a compelling story in such a short format, but that art looks amazing.

Amazing review guys! What a emotionally HEAVY episode! I'm so glad the showrunners decided to go delving into those dark places. I think the putting the gun to his head was a incredibly powerful and grounded addition to the scene. Also, Steven's "death" balancing of the scales was because Steven was the embodiment of Marc's separation from his inner guilt and denial, so when Steven was removed Marc was able to finally accept the reunited grief and be "balanced", at least that's how I took it.

Watch the replayed I didn’t like how much blood and gore when Layla killed the guy with gold thing no blood and not much either with moon knight I was disappointed but I get Disney being PG.. this episode is good it explained good amount curious for episode 4

I think that whole epic fight scene with Moon Knight's over powered armor actually didn't happen. I believe he is in the mental institution and recalling all of these amazing feats of superheroism but none of it transpired. When he gets stabbed with the spears did you notice how he is not bleeding at all? I mean even if he has a "healing factor" the fact that there wasn't a single drop of blood makes you wonder. We as the viewers have seen so many characters in the MCU be able to take a heavy beating so seeing someone being stabbed repeatedly isn't questioned. It will be really interesting to see if they go this direction with it.
