Love the plants you have. I keep my canna Lillie’s in my raised bed. They are mature, over 5 seasons, so I think this helps and because they are in the bed keeps them warmer. I add a few scoops of wood ash over winter from my wood burner. I live in suburban London, north facing garden.

None of them have flowered either so no seeds for free plants next year! I normally take my cannas into the unheated greenhouse but they are in the ground this year, so I'm leaving them in Northamptonshire 🤞 great video as always, lovely to see how much your garden has come on in one short season, very well done 😊 all my brugmansia from seeds are a wonky mess as you can see from my videos, not quite sure what to do with them

Hi Gaz, We purchased 2 plants but 4 trunks in each pot from B&M early ladt year. We haven't got a greenhouse or garage. So, what we did was planted them in big pots then purchased afew of XL Green zip bags to cover them up, then moved both plants under our BBQ stand and then wrapped the BBQ stand in thick clear plastic for the winter as im in Staffordshire too! I checked on them several times and ti un zip the Green bags to bring light in for them. Im just learning but to be fare they have survived and ill di the same this winter. They have put on new growth too. Good luck with yours 🌴🪴🌱

Hello!! Those look lovely and healthy. Are you planting them now or waiting till the spring next year? I bought Washingtonias from B&M last year and got 4 in a pot for £18. My plan is to separate them into individual pots in 2025 and maybe plant a couple of them out in 2026 - long term goals!! I have a trachy planted in the ground but I think I prefer the Washingtonias, I like the wispy curly white strings! Quite a few leaves died from last winter so I'll be covering mine up this year as they're still young (just 3 foot tall). Love your content, and your garden transformation has been amazing! Well done!

I had so many self seeded Nasturtiums and like you said they looked great early on but the caterpillars obliterated them to the point i dont think they left a single leaf undamaged!
