Dear colleagues, after 1 year of shooting in the clean condition the camera doesnot work - live view is blocked and autoexposure doesnot work. Could you please comment on this? I saw many comments on this. Moreover the support does not goes with the comments to me. Should I use leica m11 only in manual exposure regime?

Leica should introduce Rangefinder camera system without display that can be compatible for any smartphone, only lens, sensor and other controls, storage are enough phone can be used as display to see images. This will reduce cost and everyone can buy a Leica

Leica made a huge mistake with the 43mm. Before you had no choice but now you are start thinking of the limitations of having only one lens. And which mm is the best.

You have to buy an extra lens hood if you want to use this camera with a filter. That's a fail. Leica should supply a compatible lens hood like with the original Q3 (28mm)

Can you please provide a deeper Leica Q3 43 lens hood to fix the Filter Problem in Macro mode? It's a shame that you don't note this fail on the box, so customers know before buying.

Do you have the Leica Q3 or do you have the Leica Q3 43? The USB port for audio cannot yet be used on the Q3. There will be a firmware update coming very soon. After the upgrade you will be able to use your usb-c microphone.

Cant get my wireless pro to work with the Q3 43. I dont see any settings to change, when I plug it in via USB-C it still only captures audio from the internal camera mic.

You need to set the USB to Microphone. Menu Page 4 - Camera Settings / USB Settings.

@@LeicaCameraAustralia There is no such setting in my camera under USB settings. My USB mode shows PTP, Apple Mifi, and Mass Storage. There is nothing about audio. I am trying with the rode video mic go II and the rode wireless pro. I am on the latest firmware for the Q3-43 on your site.

@@scarlettpimpernel2466 What f/w version? Are you on 2.0.5? My Q3 43 has shown the USB Microphone feature since early pre-release f/w. On my camera the USB Settings Menu shows USB Charging, USB Microphone and USB Mode. I can only imagine I have a different version, which will be released shortly. I'll ask the powers that be and find out... not something I was aware of...

I shoot and prefer wide and I mostly take travel photos and landscapes, so I thought the Q3 with 28mm lens is ok with me. But will try this new Q3 43 out when it is already available in stores. As always, Leica is so nice..and as a shooter that does not doing professional photography work, this is the perfect camera for me and I don’t like lugging around a lot of photography gear.
