I love the DX7! People always talk about how “hard” it is to program, but honestly once you learn how fm synthesis works it’s a really fun process imo. This patch has a pretty 80s sound but it’s a complex synth, it can do sooo much haha

Thanks man! I’ve been checking this guy on KZbin called “ASAGACO” and he uses a surge modular system. This was my attempt to create something similiar to his stuff, haha however it didn’t really turn out sounding like his stuff. Glad you liked the vid man!

Thanks! I was really happy with this one. It’s easy to imagine synths being used for sci fi or horror film soundtracks but this kind of sound makes me think of a more subtle film like a drama or slice of life.

Very good ear! Our birds here have such unique calls. I guess that’s why they use their birdsongs in a lot of movies, they create an “exotic” feel. Haha for non aussies anyways
