Yeah after a bit of investigating I believe you are right, unfortunately after a LOT of effort we were unable to remove the ring so might need to replace the whole hub.

Excellent job, let’s hope it holds the gas when you take it for recharging. I did my injector seals on Brian last Saturday… 8 hour job, complete novice me. Thanks to KZbin videos I managed them and all is running sweet. You’ve got to dive in first, then ask for help if you need it. Is that a 4 or 5 pot diesel ?

It was a good day, haha I mean it kind of worked, there is a new one fitted now. However the engine won't currently start, I think the timing is out, so I won't be attending anything for a little while sadly.

Could an intake valve be stuck open letting pressure blow back up the intake pipe, blowing off the filter. I’m no mechanic so go easy on me if I’m absolutely way off.

New cars are so bland with no character. That key !!😂 Even Brian’s 21 year old key folds in. The best thing about this car is the A/C. Please don’t rag the arse off it too much 😂

They really have no character, I much prefer old cars like Gunthrey. AC was a life saver in morroco lol. I would never rag a hire car lol. Saying that check out my video coming soon on Gingermafro as I may of been a little over the speed limit lol.

Ironic. At shedfest I actually had a brand new mk3 golf radiator in the boot of my car.... if it actually broke on the day we could of did a fix there and then! Changing mine start of June and it's just been sat in the boot until then

Those clips are a nightmare, there’s one on my air intake attaching the pipe from my turbo to the MAF. If you let them go they close shut and then the prongs are that far apart you need super big grips to squeeze them together again 🤦🏼‍♂️ Where’s his reverse gear gone ? 😂

They really are a pain, I'm not a fan of them, yeah one closed on me and had to improvise to get it open again. He has reverse just have to select it from under the bonnet lol.

Great video, mate! Please change them Jubilee clips to same that was on there they designed to Expand with pipe. They are not great to have they best for air. I really kind of wish I still had my mk3 still. Keep up good work, bud.
