If you like mystery detective visual novels then I would recommend checking out Emio the Smiling Man, it's about a detective club investigating a string of copycat murders where the victims always have a paper bag placed over their head with a smiley face drawn on it. I picked it up, haven't gotten around to playing it yet but I've heard a lot of good things about it. Sounds like something you would enjoy given you seem to love the Ace Attorney games as much as I do.

This sounds interesting Steph. I am always concerned of the long term operability of the original Switch controllers as they have caused issues for me such as the infamous drifting issues and one of mine kept coming off from the main body because the hinge that holds the controller in place got worn off which was very lame. I want my Switch to last for many years even after Nintendo no longer supports it but the issue is I don't think the OEM controllers will last that long. Products like this Omelet provides some hope to longevity.

People need to stop championing Nintendo and really hold their feet to SOME kind of fire. Otherwise we'll keep getting trash like the Switch when they have the potential to give us a console with the power of a PS7. They just actively choose not to.

Definitely stepped out of my gaming comfort zone a couple of years ago, because I was stuck at home. I started playing theHunter CoTW, think I got it on Gamepass, I have almost 200hrs and still play it from time to time. Weirdly enough, it has become sort of nostalgic for me now.

I would cry happy tears if I found my old game boy advanced games. Pretty sure they got lost in a move years ago, or donated. I still have a few DS games that I had when they were released, like Pokemon Diamond and Mario 64 DS. Diamond doesn't work anymore, though haha

I can’t really think of a time this happened with me in a particular genre cause I’m usually open to play anything, but I guess the best example I can think of this happening for me with a game was with Borderlands 2. I don’t know if “looter shooter” was cemented as a term at that point but I thought the idea of it was dumb, though I’ve liked first person shooters since goldeneye. A friend of mine got Handsome collection on ps4 and asked me to play it online with so I got it and didn’t know I was going to end up massively addicted to it. If it wasn’t for gamepass I wouldn’t have even considered buying black ops 6, but fortunately Microsoft got it on the service and I’ve been having a blast with it. They went back to basics on a lot of the systems and weapons balancing and I think it’s made it more accessible to less hardcore players and the movement and camerawork has been the best in a shooter game ever. I thought I’d just play the campaign and call it a day but I’ve spent most of my time on multiplayer and have only played the first couple missions of the story. The only challenge for me is I just don’t have the stamina (perhaps time) to be able to play it for hours on end and rank up. I’ve got people I work with who are 20 years younger telling me they are max rank right now, after 3-4 matches I’m ready to hop off the game. I asked them to explain the battle pass and season 1 to me and if I should get it and they said if you think you’ll finish it. Ain’t sure I got time for that 😂

My first experience with call of duty was similar to yours. Haven’t been back since. 😅 But this video makes me wanna try again….just gotta mute everything 😅👌🏾

YAY, you downloaded it. I grew up in the toxic chat days but now mute and mute. I think what helps me consistently play cod was getting my brother back into gaming a few years ago. Boy did he suck at first 😂, but now I barely play without him, my cod partner. To answer your question cozy games as an adult. Of course, I used to play the heck out of Animal Corssing and the Sims games growing up, but most game I needed action. Now Im trying cozy games I wouldve never tried when I was younger.

You’ve definitely been away from call of duty for years the toxic lobby’s is what makes the game fun it’s part of the experience. Back in MW2 2009 those lobby’s were the best. But I do like black ops 6 I’m stuck on a campaign mission the mission with the camera but yes the game is great

15:52 I think the Game Boy is a very accessible retro series of systems which makes it have cross-generational appeal. One of the biggest factors is that very few games are super expensive, though the expensive games are really good. I can't say that for all NES or SNES games. On the other hand, the Sega Genesis doesn't have any expensive stinkers, off the top of my head. I have tons of recommendations for GBx.
