No disagreements with the villains listed (although ranking some of them agak susah due to the subjectivity😅). Agree w/ Dauudovi-san’s point of “hating” a particular villain helps eg I can’t stand Mahito dalam aku drop JJK. Oh ya 41:36 - perhaps Chip meant JJK and not MHA. Horikoshi Kohei defo jantan. Kohei is a male first name and there are photos of him on the net.

My 2024 list in no real order: Ashino Mina (Kaiju no 8), Ayase Momo (DDD - currently best girl in my list), Soi Fon (BLEACH TYBW - yes, she's in cour 3), Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck (dah alang2 ada BLEACH), Übel (Sousou no Frieren), Toki Ayano (Yuru Camp S3 - pasal dia schweeeeeet and naik moto Honda), Cithis (2nd in command of Canaries - Dungeon Meshi), Suou Yuki (Roshidere - Gooood morning, my brazaaaaa! I think ARIFURETA is good at Manga because of more detail, but the anime they cut makes it shot. I think the beginning of the story S1 would be more interesting if they showed how Hajime developed made their own weapon. But that is just my own opinion.

We haven't read the manga, but watching the anime only, we were locked in. Maybe we like revenge stories too much ahhahahah. Interesting that they cut a lot from the manga, but a lot of anime do this to make the story flow better or they don't have enough episode to flesh it out. Anyways, me and Haze love Arifureta and hope they continue next season! -Chip

Seronok tengok the SS crew giving some deserved love to Ao no Hako and the rebooted Ranma1/2! Just to add (cos I don’t think you guys mentioned it) that almost all the OG seiyuu are back (except for a few esp kalau dah mati) in this MAPPA reboot. I wonder if NETFLIX had anything to do with the reduced amount of spiciness (female Ranma had larger tembikai in the OG (sorry Chippu-san) as well as the lack of cheek00bee even with the VPN set on 🇯🇵). IIRC Inuyasha never had a remake/reboot other than the series pasal anak dia. Urusei Yatsura by David Production ada lah.

I echo Haze's view on Mecha Ude. Don't get me wrong - my Animu Divisyen co-panelist was looking forward to it in our quick look recently, and I watched E1 and by E2 I was like err... Yes, I could see the TRIGGER leanings in appearance that you guys mentioned but that's as far as I can go lah. OK la, I'll watch E3 to see if I'm defo dropping it.

Pekan Kurōzu-cho tu I noted the kanji from wiki as 黒渦 where 黒-kuro/hitam and渦-uzu/vortex. Korosu 殺す is kill. ^_^ Komen tambahan😅: I am very curious as to how Kubo Tite (Haze-oneesan is spot on. Why TAITO and not Tee-tay? Pronounce TITE the English way tapi pretend you are Japanese…) is gonna influence/change what he had written. Aku masa baca dulu mcm eh? nani kore. Very convoluted. Nevertheless, let’s hope for the best lah. DANDADAN is one to watch/read. Especially with the likes of MHA and JJK dah close shop, Shonen Jump’s stable of new IPs like deez nu… I mean, like DDD and Kagurabachi are titles to look out for. BTW DDD in 日本語 is still dandadan. Katakana dia ダ bukan タ😊. Cer tengok balik. Momo-chan FTW! Dauudovi-san kena collab dgn animu div pasal hare… nmind. Mata, ne!

Right so the town is low key called black vortex to correlate with the title, typical Japanese wordplay then. I think the mangaka himself pronounced it TITE if I'm not mistaken, was revealed in an interview back when Bleach blew up.....read all the stuff ppl said towards the end of the manga itself, also heard he was not well during that time with back issues similar to Togashi-sensei, I tried reading into it more but I can't find any deeper information apart from a few statements saying that he was bedridden and been warded for a bit during the illness. Still unsure about his health currently. Yeah had a bit of fun with DDD but not as much as the rest of the team since I've only watched the first episode, just crossing my fingers it wouldn't be overhyped in the weeks to come, everyone is raving abt it atm. Been hearing a lot of good things abt Kagurabachi and I saw a few cels of the trailer and it looks awesome. Would love to talk abt ecchi/harem/fanservice stuff with fellow enthusiasts too lololol 😆 - Dauudovi

YOSH! Something aku kenal/suka dalam senarai - EVA. Dauudovii is right about how awal-awal siri TV ni typical monster of the day tapi jadi ganjil midway onwards, and of course, Chip's mention of the topic of mental health, baik dari topik penceritaan atau dari kesihatan Anno Hideaki sendiri di waktu itu. Banyak faktor lain jugak yang kacau termasuk bajet, dan dipengakhiran kita tepuk tangan belalang kupu-kupu. Satu benda je nak mention - filem2 yang Anno buat ada dua peringkat. Zaman penghujung siri TV NGE dia recap dengan Death & Rebirth, and the NGE ending dari sudut pandang lain - End of Evangelion. REBUILD OF EVANGELION is different - in the sense that it is the remake and reinterpretation of NGE by Anno in his new studio (Khara) which started in 2002 and ended with 3+1 in 2021. The variably staggered release dates of the films was criticised (parts 3 and 3+1 were 9 yrs apart - go figure). Dan bab yang tak payah tengok/baca/main semua adalah betul - although semua ni canon. And hard core fans may notice easter eggs from all the IPs related to EVA on watching 3+1 (aku tak cukup hardcore, hanya mampu tulis secebis nota camni je). Selamat menonton! ^^

As mentioned kat live chat, only saw the 2008 film with Matsuyama Kenichi playing Krauser/Negishi. Absolute enjoyed the comedy yang memang bangang😅😂. The film also had Gene Simmons as Jack il Dark. Nak jugak dia berlakon cerita ni.

I think KISS pun ada quite a following in Japan as they've played the Budokan there if I'm not mistaken. Also I think during the time the movie was released Gene was a star of his own reality show called Gene Simmons' Family Jewels if I remember correctly......gotta ask my friend dia hard-core fan KISS.
