I'm startting to think they all do lol I got a 2022 D mark with In Cod We Trust and 2 different 2023 P mark with the same

They are not worth $1k. They are a uniquely designed coin that happens to suffer from poor quality production that caused a minor glitch in the die that made the letter G simply look like a C and from the sounds of it plenty are being found. which makes it common from an error perspective and is subjective to the rule of supply and demand making it a common novelty. check Ebay sold listings to see what the in cod we trust error is selling for to determine probable value.

I checked eBay sold listings and seen some sell for $1 with free shipping and others for $3, $7 and $9 which is plausible, but still seems to be too much for this error variety. If it is even a legitimate error or simply a design flaw in the letter G. I also see some sold listings for this error over $2000 but also see the seller has a feedback score of 0 which screams "fraudulent" listings and sales. and those sales should be looked at with great scrutiny.

I wouldn't call new collectors stupid. We all need to learn our new hobbies. I know people who would buy things they like because they like it, and they find it pleasing. so, if someone pays up for something they want, they may be overpaying but they wanted it and really do not view it as an investment. I paid $1.37 for the one in the video because I wanted an uncirculated copy for my collection. so, I may have overpaid but I also used to smoke cigarettes and burned $10 a day up in smoke. 😒

There are plenty of die chips around GW's cap (called a Tri Con). The one I'm describing in this video is the Full Crown Die Chip. Called a Crown because it looks like he is wearing a "Royal Crown" on top of his Head. Also 3 letters in E Pluribus unum are partially obscured due to the size of the die chip. @@Rickmartin0044 well that’s the thing about this design. it looks quite different than anything that they’ve done before with all the text in the coat instead of around the image I personally like the design just because it’s different but yes it’s a standard quarter people that collect coins wanna have the best copy that they can find for their collection but other than that there’s no precious metal in it and it’s not rare. There is however, a die crack or die chip in some of the lettering in her coat that are selling for a couple bucks on eBay. Those are only on the Philadelphia minted copies, but not all of them. If I were you guys, I’d keep it just for the story. It’s a great story. We all want to hit it big someday I got a chuckle just reading your comment.
