Hey Kay! I might have to grab that interest tracker. I think I'm going to work on a savings challenge book using the money I earn in my high yield savings account to see how much interest I earn throughout 2025! We moved when my son was in 7th grade and my daughter was a 2nd grader. They both found friends immediately and fit right in. I think the best thing you can do is point out all of her qualities she has and how those will help her find new friendships. Also discuss things she is interested in. Finding extracurricular activities that she is interested in is a great way to meet new peers! I mentor a child through Teammates, and she is in junior high, and they just tend to be a little insecure at this age. You just have to point out the positives. Asking her what her fears are and talking through them can be really helpful. Usually what they fear the most when it comes to trying new things or meeting new people can easily be calmed by just talking it through and coming up with a plan on how to handle the situations they fear. If they can walk through things in their head, the actual act becomes a little easier to accomplish. Maybe her school has some kind of mentor program she can participate in and they can match her up with someone that she can talk to when at school. I meet with my child once a week during her study hall period. We sit and play boardgames, cards, or I do some kind of craft with her and we talk about whatever she wants during that one-hour period. I worked yesterday and today. I stayed up until midnight and had a glass of Moscato to ring in the new year with my housemates. Not sure which dog I kissed at midnight. I am so unbelievably excited about this new job. I will actually be able to really save money, instead of $25 a paycheck. Until I have the rental house(MUST have a garage!) I will be going on a serious low spend and stuffing my savings as much as possible so that I can buy the few items I need to feel ready to move. And ya know, deposits for everything.

I've been following you for a while now, I love your videos! I've always used the envelope challenge but for the new year I got a budget book with the envelopes and labels and I love it! I've already started using it and planning the next one I'm going to buy!
