These days, unless you're a white, English, law abiding citizen that makes a mistake, you've nothing to fear from the British police. If you're a muslim they'll roll out the red carpet for you and make sure no one gets in your way.

Ah yes, the old annual "completely unforeseen" floods. This only causes "chaos" for me because the councils never bother to raise the roads on flood plains or put in adequate flood defenses, causing long delays and traffic problems. It's so bad near me that they got electronic signs that tell you the depth of floods.

Jesus, they could sort the roads out with the cost of implementing signs like that. You just couldn't make this up. In all honesty, most of these floods are caused by insufficient drainage on roads. The council would rather waste the money on something else.

People in the comments who say "pure chaos my ass" clearly don't know that the UK is a natural disaster-free country, so when storms like this do happen it really does cause pure chaos. Houses will flood, people will not get to work, the entire road infrastructure and public transportation systems grind to a halt and lives will be at risk. This country is not often prepared for it. Nobody also cares about your hurricanes. That's an annual weather event and the places that get them are often prepared for them, and better yet still choose to live in said places!

And a HY tube of the Paris Police, Tube of the brand of Citroën France, only for the Paris Police + the clothes of the time (nicknamed the salad basket ... because of the jolts inside). The 2 vehicles participated several times in the great exhibition of vintage cars of the city of Lyon in France. You can find them on the internet in the section: Cars of the Paris Police. Yeah, many people raised that concern later in the day. The police in reality though do not seem to care when we're in numbers.

@@madasafish2010 It's fun, too! When we lived in Florida we bought a Kawasaki 1000 Police bike. It had all the kit still installed, No-one would pass me on the road until I stopped at a traffic light and they noticed that I was wearing a Honda Candy Apple Red helmet (for my Gold Wing) and a "Sturgis" t-shirt. Never failed to make me smile.

It never ceases to amaze me just how comprehensively and lovingly these cars have been restored to the condition they were in when in service across the pond - the Fairfax, VA unit leading the way looks especially sharp :) It also furthers my desire to finally make the jump and buy my own when I can get the chance!
