The base game was pretty easy so I installed 200 mods to make the game challenging. When I got to this boss with the mods installed he was basically nearly invincible. I had to lower the difficulty to beat him with mods on.

A very easy way I found to knock him off is to go straight towards him after climbing up (don't sprint), quickstep through his first shot then immediately follow up with two transform attacks and he should fall. I did this with the saw cleaver, so I can't confirm for any other weapons. I tried this a couple times and it worked every time.
