Just a reminder that the voice of Harry was also the voice of David the Gnome.

My older sister was killed in a car accident in 1971. She was 23 years old, newly married and just told her friend that same night she pregnant. I was 11, the baby of 5 and she was the oldest. This was her favorite song along with Bridge Over Troubled Water. Both were played at her funeral. Such a Great song and he does such a spectacular job on it!

This brings back memories. After this came out on the screen, my older brother bought leather fringe boots, walked around the neighborhood to keep justice...LOL. The point being: This movie actually shaped teenagers futures for the better!

Ah yes, Billy Jack. White man bad, Red man victim. It was a simpler, more naive time.

I watched this show way back when and was in awe of Rich Little. I would try to do my own impressions. He once did a serious soliloquy by Humphrey Bogart. Not sure where I can see it again. If anyone knows, let me know.

One of the most magnificent voices ever. It’s my understanding that he never had a singing lesson ever. The first time I ever heard Jim sing was on an episode of the Andy Griffith show. It came as a complete shock to hear the difference between Gomer and Jim.

My father, God rest his soul, had a wonderful gift of being able to imitate voices of actors, their characters, & even cartoon characters. My favorite was always Jim Nabors as Gomer Pyle, USMC both speaking & singing. His voice was a rich baritone normally, but there was an added depth when he did Jim. Probably because in real life, he was such a humble man that he was careful to never outsing others in the choir. I love watching this clip! It brings Dad back, even if just for a little while. I miss him dearly. RIP Jim & Dad.
