I would not be surprised either if and probably is, among the first 50 of these ever made, knowing you and Casablanca fans! This is a real classic! So elegant and upscale! Love the finish!

Years ago, I lived in an apartment complex that had two of these in the clubhouse. Very tall cathedral ceilings, mounted on the slope, maybe 30+ degrees with apx. 5ft downrods. Antique brass, plain blades. Each had a solid state control on the wall next the wood burning- turned-gas fireplace. The slope was extreme enough you could almost see the top of the mounting ball on each one, and no recall clips. One day I asked why they were never used. They told me they wobbled too much. I didn’t dare turn them on! After moving away, I had to go back for some reason and they were replaced with some 5-blade Craftmade fans with strikingly-similar blade arms. I forget the model name, but they were oddly similar. The solid-state controls replaced with 3-speed dials, and both on medium. I asked about the Cambridge fans, they said the electrician tossed them a few months prior. Fast-forward 17+ years, the pics of the clubhouse show no fans and the fireplace gone. Only time I ever saw these IRL. Very cool fans!

Cool! I didn't know this Crest model came in BROWN & brass! An aunt of mine on my dads side of the family had 2 of these in the kitchen, yes a dual install of these! For years throughout my childhood I thought that install was so unique. Of course, the one difference is that those were antique brass, not this special one you're lucky to have that has some BROWN.

Do you think that is anything like the Encon Crusader fans? Very similar.

I had a NIB 3rd gen, white/brass as a child. Installed it in our family’s very long, and low, living room. Ceiling was only 8ft or so. It was a monster. 2nd gen was definitely better looking. The air movement was wild. Awesome and rare unit there, sir.

I live two hours awy from Tyler, i haven't seen any of these on facebook marketplace or any vintage fans, usually just see newer ones that aren't even that old.

My grandma has a TAT deluxe and it has the same light kit and blade irons (but those ones are antique brass) and it's an '82 judging by the serial number

My family has one of these in black with the metal blades in our garage it's been up there for years the pull chain must have been pulled out or something but I do remember it's stuck on high and it is turned on and off by a cord and I know the high-speed it's decently powerful I love these type of fans.

this is a childhood fan my mom used to work at a school next to my moms office there was another office which had one of these in this exact finish my mom got a different job so I don’t see that fan anymore but it was cool seeing it operate.

Yeah this model doesn’t have an actual brand label. The older white ones were sold under Hampton Bay with the logo fobs. Same thing happened to the Littleton, Brookhurst, etc. They removed the Hampton Bay brand label.

Hampton bay hugger these are slightly better than the armitage but still garbage fans overall

I used to like the look of these fans ,but honest to goodness now Im not really fond of them. I mean I’ve never owned one but the seem to be on par with a Harbor Breeze Armitage or Hampton Bay Littleton / Home Depot Littleton. Also hey 👋 to the O first here 😄😉🤪🎉!
