I've been plumb bobbing for years but not until recently did I learn about figuring out how to actually get your putter shaft plumb. That has made a huge difference for me. One item I've been struggling with is what is my target point with the shaft? Do you use the inside edge, outside edge or center? Maybe there isn't a "right" answer on this but something I have been trying to figure out lately just to help picking out a target.

@@GolfBarons Great video and found tried the Tour Soft, really great ball around the greens, but a bit too much height like a Super Soft for me. I hit lots of longer 2 and 4 irons, don't carry fairway woods, so AVX seems to stay on a firmer, lower less spin direction. Agree, it has a bit more "click" sound off the putter vs the Tour Soft more like a ProV

Do you have more time to generate speed being taller and having longer arm span?
@GolfBarons2 ай бұрын
@lizard9437 , good question. Opinion only, but not of any significance. Ultimately, it might only be a 3-5% arm length difference or less if taking into account shoulder width. It also takes more power to move the longer lever. Rory vs. Lamprecht would be an interesting comparison. Philbert, not so much.
@wilkersonracing52522 ай бұрын
So food for thought. I am 6 foot 3 220 lbs 75 in wingspan. Just starting playing and have a horrible technique swing but a slow looking swing but average driver club head speed of 110. The swing looks very slow.
@GolfBarons2 ай бұрын
@wilkersonracing5252 , welcome to golf. We did a piece on tempo that might be a nice comparison. Tall folk have longer levers (arms and legs), but arms is the only one referred to. Swing length will reflect more on time than wingspan (unscientific opinion. Actually, un-everything. I just needed an excuse for being short. Phil)
