I've been plumb bobbing for years but not until recently did I learn about figuring out how to actually get your putter shaft plumb. That has made a huge difference for me. One item I've been struggling with is what is my target point with the shaft? Do you use the inside edge, outside edge or center? Maybe there isn't a "right" answer on this but something I have been trying to figure out lately just to help picking out a target.

@@GolfBarons Great video and found tried the Tour Soft, really great ball around the greens, but a bit too much height like a Super Soft for me. I hit lots of longer 2 and 4 irons, don't carry fairway woods, so AVX seems to stay on a firmer, lower less spin direction. Agree, it has a bit more "click" sound off the putter vs the Tour Soft more like a ProV

I switched form overlap to interlock in the space of a couple of shots and didn't find the change difficult. Did find fewer shots going left or maybe just convinced myself it was better 🙂 decades back, 10 finger grip was recommended for anyone with small hands (eg kids)

Just picked up a used set of these today. Itching to try them out. My previous clubs, I learned, are ladies circa 1980. So Im hopeful I get more length from these as they are a bit longer and about 40years younger. I was looking at the WaZaki and Eleven hybrids but not ready to spend on new clubs, then these Tour Edge E524 came up on Marketplace. So I figured wish granted and bought them the next day.

Do you have more time to generate speed being taller and having longer arm span?
@GolfBarons
@GolfBarons 2 ай бұрын
@lizard9437 , good question. Opinion only, but not of any significance. Ultimately, it might only be a 3-5% arm length difference or less if taking into account shoulder width. It also takes more power to move the longer lever. Rory vs. Lamprecht would be an interesting comparison. Philbert, not so much.

@GolfBarons
@GolfBarons 2 ай бұрын
@wilkersonracing5252 , welcome to golf. We did a piece on tempo that might be a nice comparison. Tall folk have longer levers (arms and legs), but arms is the only one referred to. Swing length will reflect more on time than wingspan (unscientific opinion. Actually, un-everything. I just needed an excuse for being short. Phil)

@ Thank you. I’ve really been enjoying it (even being a 30.8 handicap) it’s been a fun couple months. I just got a new driver and the guy at the store said he was jealous of my speed for just starting out. But I told him I feel like it makes it harder to start out.
