Nothing to do with right wing nor far-right whatsoever. Neo-Fascism, just like Mussolini's Fascism, is a socialist 3rd position movement.

Fascism is the best system. It takes care or workers but on the other hand allows free economy and private property.
@Historia.Magistra.Vitae.45 секунд бұрын
_"but on the other hand allows free economy."_ Wrong. It doesn't. Fascism was a form of socialism and had a State run economy via Corporatism ("corporativismo" in Italian), which was one of the cornerstone principles in Mussolini's fascism, and had to do with the way society and the economy would be organized, with state power at the head of a system of syndicates ("corporazione") representing each major industry. Mussolini's corporatist view stressed total state power over businesses as much as over individuals, via these governing industry bodies controlled by the Fascist party, in which businesses retained the responsibilities of property, but few if any of the freedoms.

_"and private property."_ Not exactly. Owning property was conditional and not care free like it is now. Individual ownership rights were understood to be strictly subordinate to collective discipline. It was not the individual ownership of property that concerned Fascists, but its subordination to collective control. Property was understood to perform social functions rather than to manifest individual rights. It was clear that the conception of property as a social function was broad enough to include socialization of the means of production, should that be required by the national interests as interpreted by the state. p. 305

Very interesting article, but I felt an important notion was missing. The aricle had only presented the people agreeing, that Karoshi is a problematic issue (and it is), but there are also people in Japan, that hold on to the absurd idea, that Karoshi is something like the badge of honour - "giving up your life to build the country", and stuff like that (particularly the elderly, no suprise here). While I was working in Germany, I've met a woman from Japan, who lost both of her parents to Karoshi, and she told me, that her relatives, even her grandparents, are in total denial about it, claiming their deaths were "noble and heroic" (perhaps, it is a way of coping, but still...). It shows, just how deeply rooted the idea "hard work" is, in the minds of Japanese, not efficient work, not effective work, not innovative work (these notions are often frowned upon, considered as subversive, actually) just HARD.

The benefits of the EU will be lost if the members insist on being independent nations. The EU is no cash dispenser funded by the big EU sponsors who have to bear most of inconvenient obligations. If migration is an issue, we neef to talk about undesirable INTRA EU MIGRATION as well. A d freedom of movement of capital? Actually, all Critics of the EU are simply focused on cherry picking. They do not want to attack the EU itself.

The inflation now is insane and I doubt people are saving money. One person can easily spend $200/month for a meager diet. If there was at least some hope that your efforts mattered with good savings, at least people would have something to look forward to.
