A lot better than my first track with fast tracker 2. (Only started using it this month after using fl and Ableton. Definitely not gonna switch but might use fast tracker to make some samples)

Hey, what fl version are you using? I just bought this plugin and it isnt scanning, did u have any trouble installing it?
@chiefsteve63556 күн бұрын
I'm using FL 21 but I don't think it would be a problem which version of FL you're using. I had problems with the Amigo sampler. It took me forever to finally figure out which folder the file had to go in for it to work. The file has to go in there: C: Programm Files -> Common Files -> Drag "Amigo.vst3" in the VST3 Folder and then scann for new Plugins. Hope that helps!
@taylor60967 күн бұрын
how did you get it to play from different moments in the sample? It only wants to play the beginning or end of the sample unless I shorten it but then I lose the beginning
@chiefsteve63556 күн бұрын
Should be: Mode -> Slice -> Autoslice.You can add slices with right mouse button i think. Every note from c in the piano roll is then a slice in the Amigo Sampler. So: C is the first slice C# then the next and so on. I hope you get what i mean

So, most of the projects of the songs I showed here were lost. I can see if I can find them after all, then I would be very happy if we published them together. Just write to me on Discord. 🙏

I think this song was created by placing the needle in random spots on the LP, hence the random stranger sample since it is the track preceding Just The Way You Are. It’s a cool way of producing and testing your composing skills.

I love when people give that latin, salsa rhythm to bossa standards, but as a Brazilian, not to criticize or anything, that's not how you play a bossa. I think you can learn a lot from Brazilians playing, cuz I know a lot of early jobim records had Ron Carter and he created a lot of bass rhythms for the genre, but here in this country thats not how we play
@chiefsteve63552 ай бұрын
Yes, you’re totally right! I am still learning how to get this Latin feeling. I am playing Bass now for 1 year now (I was 15 when i started). I started playing the bass because i fell in love with the beautiful Bossa Nova👐🏻 Thank you for the comment! 🙏 Hopefully, I will get better 😂👍🏻
