Thank you for your feedback! It’s important to note that this session was intended to provide a high-level overview. In large forums like this, we adhere to specific guidelines, which often limit the depth of technical details we can share due to legal and confidentiality considerations. That said, the ability to deliver a meaningful talk on technical topics isn’t restricted to a particular title. As a Data Engineering Manager with extensive experience, I’m deeply involved in both the strategic and technical aspects of our work. While architects, principal engineers, and TPMs bring their own valuable perspectives, data leaders like myself also have the expertise and responsibility to discuss these subjects comprehensively. If there are specific areas you’d like to dive deeper into, I’d be happy to connect further!

All of the new announcements seem to be enterprise only which sucks if you are a small team

She gave good overview. but, the real persons like Architect or Principal Engineer or Tech Program Manager should talk on this stuff.

Hello KZbin Star- I have watched all your videos. Your videos are very nice but there is some problem with your channel. Your channel is not optimized properly and your channel SEO score is very low due to which your channel is not getting good views. If you solve your channel problems, you will get many Subscriber views on your channel. Have a Good Day

Thanks. "Star Schema" is a great book for beginners. It's much more brief than the "toolkit" but still has the main concepts in it and imho more practical problems described.

I can't agree. If you develop a data warehouse and it is going to stay the same ever, then OBT is nice. But in real world we have to add new fields, fix errors (some may have been inherited from sources), do changes, build slowly changing dimensions. Then OBT is a nightmare.

Open source does not mean you wouldn't make money. Plenty of companies release their product as code, which most people can't handle, thus the consultants make money. Simple. BTW "OpenCore" sounds like you're cheating somehow and just piggybacking off the real Open Source movement. Look it up.
