And to know that certain forms of KH-8 Gambit imagery may even exceed the current KH-11 in ground resolution, its all wild.

Absolutely! I look forward to the day when the KH-8 imagery will become declassified. I'll definitely put in a large effort to distribute as much of that as possible

Question? Why did they take spy satellite photos of San Francisco in1979. It makes no sense. Unless they are spying on US citizens. Not surprised.

To my knowledge they did this for calibration and training purposes. Easier to train people to analyse a more familiar environment. But now they're a great historical resource for looking at how locations have changed.

Do you georeference it into a global Mercator projection regardless of it's original projection? I would think if you knew what it's original projection were, you wouldn't need nearly as many reference points. Applogies if you explained it in the video, I skimmed through it, but doesn't have the time to watch the whole thing now. Cool project!

Sadly it has! If you go download Google Earth Pro on your computer and use historical imagery you'll be able to see it during 5/2023 🤓

Hi Harry, I really enjoyed the stream. I think the be right back screen, the logo should be in a corner and also around 56:00 your gmail is visible top right. Sub'd
