Moncton, a vibrant cultural scene? lol Not so much since everyone got priced out of town. On top of drugs, crime, and homelessness going through the roof. We had our days though. But things are only getting worst every day.

Moncton is a very safe city. Definitely not top 10 places to avoid. In fact, fastest growing CMA in Canada 2 years running. If you look at murders, Moncton isn't even close to the worst cities in Canada. This list is faulty because of the way it compiles crime rates. Bad job.

From someone who lives in Albuquerque, just make sure you lock your doors and pay attention to bad/aggressive drivers. It’s also quite obvious which parts of the city are a little less hospitable, especially at night and for people visiting. The annual International Balloon Fiesta that happens here is so cool and never gets old or hasn’t for me after 23 years here. I appreciate you ending each one of these cities on an optimistic note though cause it feels like there really are way more compassionate people in our world than the bad apples that get so much of our attention.
