They could skip the theatrics. It was a distraction. Die hard Pink Floyd fans can envision it. The guitar solo was great but too much flourish at the end. Sorry... I am such a Gilmour snob. 😂

Got tickets to see them later this year in Liverpool first time I have ever been to a cover band gig for anyone, I seen PINK Floyd many times starting in 1972 then every tour after that inc both Venice Gig's so that's probably why I couldent wach a cover band but my Lad bought us 2 tickets for Brit Floyd so iam looking forward to it and going by this performance they are pretty good

This was my 1st concert @ Red Rocks and WOW what a show when they played wish you were here and showing Pink Floyd on the stage screen AMAZING what a moment!! The beauty and sound of Red Rocks is hard to describe in words for all music lovers out there put this on your bucket list ....WOW!!👍👍

There's a more complicated tale behind this one: it SEEMS that Firefall's Rick Roberts and Chris Hillamn wrote the original tune and lyrics. It was around the time of The Flying Burrito Brothers' 1971 tour. Then, they went their own ways, and after Stephen Stills recruited Hillman, he changed the lyrics to be the Manassas version, without crediting Roberts, even though Roberts went the extra mile and credited Stills on a version which the latter had nothing to do with.

I recorded this with my Takamine in double drop d, my 71 Fender Jazz, I also made an orchestrated version with violins and harp and piccolo.. but it was nice to just do this in a simple format just acoustic ... drum.. bass and vocal. Recorded on Cakewalk. I took the mix for guitar drums bass and dropped the song to C then added the vocal track... to get it in my vocal range... for the lyrics..
