My 2019 expedition xlt has a shifting problem when going to 20mph
@TonyShalda10 сағат бұрын
@penelope.1904 mine shifts like that too. A fluid flush helps, but to fix the problem, the transmission has to be rebuilt with an updated c.d.f. drum and outer shell. I'll be doing that soon I'm sure

Here's my question: What work have you done to get these things up to such a high mileage? There's no way you haven't followed the factory maintenance to a T. I've worked at oil change places for the better part of a year now and I've only ever seen two 3.5s above 250k miles and absolutely no other Ford's over 250k other than an 04 focus. Highest mileage I've seen on a vehicle with my own two eyes was 394k on a Scion tC of all things
@TonyShalda9 күн бұрын
Factory maintenance schedules don't work. They claim differential, transmission, and ptu fluids are life time fluids and oil can be changed at 7k. You're best off using common sense. Most people here drive to other towns to work, an average of 120 miles a day for work
@austinburgess97799 күн бұрын
@@TonyShalda Yeah that sounds about right, they do say to just listen to the oil life monitor which is 10k miles and you should never do
