How do you finish the knot so it looks clean and professional I probably shouldn’t ask you of all the videos I’ve watched trying to find tips on finishing off this rope your is the sloppiest I’m so annoyed should I super glue, melt it makes up a big ass bird nest knot I guess if it’s long enough the end of it won’t matter ?

Is there a way to braid 8 strands into a round rope instead of a flat basket weave rope? I really enjoy your videos. They are easy to understand and VERY informative! Please, keep up the good work, you've helped me out so much!!

home depot store didn't have any. however i just ordered to some from home depot ONLINE to be delivered to the store for pickup. 1250lbs is plenty for the general purpose rope i need!

I get mine from lots of places, some admittedly our electrical supply houses such as CDE and Plat, but also including a few big box stores... mostly Tractor Supply Company and Granger. Way back in the day Home Depot used to sell it. -Your local friendly sparky.

Excellent tutorial !! Clear instructions and repeated a few times throughout the video to be sure following the instructor. Critical to understand how to do the lead line as it will be the base guide for the halter to come. Happy Haltering 🙂

Hello, very good job with that healter you did. I would like to know if you can make a video with the complete step-by-step tutorial from start to finish. I have knowledge of weaving but in rawhide. and I have had many problems just like you with this project. Thank you and I hope you can make that video for all of us. Greetings from Sonora Mexico.

Do you offer different kinds of instructions? Like halters without the lead attached, or with a lariat noseband?
@muletapehaltersecrets93822 жыл бұрын
Currently i only offer the 8 strand flat noseband halter but will have more options in the course in the near future. Thanks so much! Enjoy!

How long is each strand of mule tape
@muletapehaltersecrets93822 жыл бұрын
It all depends on the size of the horse and size of halter you are making which i have all the measurements in my course but for a standard horse its 21 Ft for a total of 168 Ft and I teach you all of this step by step in my Mule Tape Halters Secrets Course at www.muletapehalters.com.

I have a question I'm trying to make one of these but It has to be 10 ft long with core and 6 strands how much tape do I need to use I don't know how to figure that out?
@muletapehaltersecrets93822 жыл бұрын
Im not exactly sure on that one. We use 2 strands at 25ft folded in half to make the this lead line so about 12.5' Ft for 8 ft. Id imagine you will need close to 15' - 16' Ft for a 10' Ft 6 strand lead line. Good luck!
