Sadly we'll probably never see another game of this style because Genius Sonority (the developers of Pokemon Colosseum, XD Gale of Darkness and Battle Revolution) Essentially doesn't exist anymore.

Man… Battle Revolution really was just a few years too early. While Wi-Fi battles were a thing in the DS games. Just imagine how hype this game would have been if it released in the 3DS era where connectivity with other players all over the world over the internet really took off. This game would‘ve profited so much from online battling. If they‘d bring it back as an alternative to showdown with the freedom it provides with all features, Pokemon and moves. Connected to Pokemon Home. I‘m sure it‘d be a goldmine. Heck I‘d probably get back into the competitive scene myself if that would happen.

I remember getting this game at Target (back when we had one here) and my Mum tried to talk me out of getting it because it was "just battles". I told her it didn't matter and I got it. So glad I didn't let her talk me out of it, because I LOVED it. Such a gorgeous game. I absolutely loved the soundtrack, and even now I find myself humming along to each song in this video. 🥰🎶
