@Playerwhodoesntexist Pixel 8 Pro's camera photos and video during the day are better than on the OnePlus 12. However, OP12 trumps it for night photos and selfies day and night. Pixels are suffering from subpar chipsets, namely Google Tensor 1 to 4 (so far) and it's not worth your time for gaming and power efficiency. As for the Xiaomi 14, there's no doubt that's a good phone but OP 12 beats it in the software experience, night shots and ultrawide shots day and night plus selfies day and night are better, too. Main camera performance is on par. Screens are great on both. Battery is dependable on both. But OP 12 lasts longer according to several tests and charges quicker and also has an industry-leading 1600 full charging cycles before it goes down to 80% capacity. Performance-wise would be on as overall as both have 8 Gen 3 chipset and have just about average vapor cooking chambers really. OP12 also has Aqua Touch technology meaning that,even in a heavy rain, you can still use your phone like normal. And it's got the alert slider on side,too.

Good phone for the price. Just remember a few things: 1. No NFC 2. Mono speaker instead of stereo speakers 3.No charger in the box 4. Turn off the Night Light in the display settings cos it could give you a green-ish tint 5. Turn on the HDR in the display settings when watching videos, shows, movies, etc. 6. @@Soulflyy992 For a battery capacity of less than even 3600 mAh,the battery life is excellent. Other than that, it's just good. And also,turn off the always-on display. I'd reckon the battery life is better than on the Samsung S23 and on the Pixel 8 and even on Pixel 9.

Clean ur screen and re calibrate your finger print then try again

Nonetheless, I still have all info on both phones, so technically I can do some comparison. Spoiler alert: The A18 in the 16 showed better performance than the A18 Pro chipset in the iPhone 16 Pro...

This phone for sure, the screen better quality and the software way ahead than buggy HyperOS

@@sarfrazkhan2578 This is the UK version and it gets a 100W charger in the box. So does the European version,too. I cannot confirm about other markets. That's a very annoying trend started by Apple and it seems all the manufacturers have started to implement gradually.

I appreciate your opinion on that matter. I'm not high on AI at all. It's still in the early stages, it's still awkward, and slow, and utterly pointless for far too many tasks. But I do agree that Google AI is ahead of the competition.

That is called fake publicity marketing.. when you cannot compete .. just spread false rumours in the market & pay a bunch of idiots to do that

12 shouldn't be having this issue because they are now using the BOE display before it was Samsung. And motherboard is an update issue hopefully with OnePlus 12's strong processor that won't be an issue.

Also, OnePlus is offering life time screen replacement
