Fun fact. Dante can perform a royal release in his boss fight. Something that DMC5 Dante doesn’t do in his boss fight.

The Royal Guard move that Dante was using against you during his boss fight was Royal Revenge, the auto parry Royal Guard move that is done with the Lock-on Backwards Royal Guard input that you DID NOT do a single time when facing the Vergil boss fight again as Dante.
