i know im late but this solution is wrong because there is an error with factoring initially. answer is 2(x+2)/(x+1) if anyone needed

hi, wanna know something here.... the surface area of a cone is it the same as the surface area of a hemisphere + cone ? since ice cream cone is formed by two shapes, cone + hemisphere?

Me finding this video the night before a testing is a blessing, the way you explain it all actually helped it connect in my head what to do, (beforehand, I had failed unit 4.5 miserably) because I did not understand and we were thrown headfirst into the hardest unit to start with. Thank you, Jeremy Klassen.

In the last question (i), when you factor the (1-2x)^1/3 out of the last term, why doesn't the result equal 1? If you subtract the exponents, 1/3-1/3= 0, and a zero exponent always equals 1, right?

@@JennBR71223 so I found it. The first exponent was actually 4/3. So then 4/3 -1/3 gives you 3/3 or 1. At least I think that's what you were referring to
