Man I forgot how New Jack Swing killed the careers of most of the old crooners, old soul groups and bans. You either came out with songs like this or Chaka's I Feel For You or you just got ate. I forgot James even had this song until it started playing.

I remember that show coming on at 6:30 pm CT right after the 6 pm news broadcast on channel 5 in Chicago.. where we grew up...we had our first color TV set in 1972

What’s crazy is I was 10 years old. When this came out, I don’t remember a lot of things from back then just a few things stick out to me. I remember the sitcom great American hero and I actually remember the whole song I remember singing that song in the bathroom when I was 10 years old, of course I like the team night rider and I think for my ninth birthday I had Pac-Man plates and a Pac-Man cake. Life seems so much simpler back then we lived downstairs in my grandmother’s house and a very small apartment. A very small railroad apartment ,but when you’re 8,9 or 10 you don’t need much you don’t need a fancy place to live. You just want your mom and dad around. I remember getting toys but a lot of the times we had to wait for Christmas or my birthday. We didn’t have a lot of money so my mom can just buy me stuff to buy me stuff.

I am 62 now and just had to revisit this Award show. It was exciting to see the performers of your favorite songs. Classy men and women. I don't watch this show or the Grammys because they have lost the class, and the talent is now far in between. Thanks to the poster.

While I know that Susan's method has been debunked in the years since she was all the rage as a diet guru... I still use her fat formula when I am dieting to help me steer clear of the really high fat foods...! As she says in this video.. "Have a snack cake once in a while.. just don't live on them..!" I must admit that "hidden" fat like that which is in milk... now that is really a crime.. 2% or is it really 32% and 1% is not that much better (22% fat)... Still, I couldn't make the switch to skim or 0% milk... While I was drinking milk on a daily basis. I gave it up about 2 years ago.. and lost 20 pounds.. Do I still eat dairy like cheese.. Yes.. and it's usually not low fat either.. _tastes like rubber_ in my opinion... Again use it sparingly! Susan's motto of Eat, Breathe and Move is still a good one to live by!
