The lymphoedema nurse that ordered these for me, said that the straps have to be on as tight as possible. I haven't seen any instructional video saying this. Is she correct or should I loosen them a bit?

I had an op for Bowel Cancer last year I had half my bowel removed and then reconnected wit my small bowel plus a dozen or more lymph nodes. I had Chemo and finished that in November 2021 I sailed through that will very little after effects. Two months ago my body has morphed into Michelin woman I have gone from size 12 to size 16. I went to GP but he reckoned I hadn't got Lymphoedema but now I have swollen arms, stomach, and bottom halve. I only have telephone appts with Specialist I told her about my problem and she told me to drink nothing but water but nothing has changed I am trying to get appt hopefully in the next few weeks with GP. I knew I could get after effects from Chemo after I had finished but nothing like this. Thankyou for your video it has explained what is happening to my body.
