Sorry, but a cosmetologist can absolutely spread disease because they don't understand how to disenfect or clean their equipment. I think the worst effects of the Citizens United ruling can be minimized by full transparency. Privacy rights should not extend to political spending in the same degree as other spending. But even then, personal spending that can prove criminal activity has long been legally accepted as unprotected from privacy rights. Anonymous political donation or spending should be illegal. The other aspect that needs to be further distinguished is that corporations, unions, and any other organizations do not have the same nature or rights as individuals. They are not human beings and as such their “human rights” are not as absolute. Even though they are comprised of groups of human beings, organizations inherently do not have direct accountability for their actions, nor do they have the same vulnerabilities inherent to individual human beings. Similar reasoning would/could convey human rights to machines or artificial intelligence mechanisms that are imbued with the goals and expressed beliefs of their human creators. Robot rights are the logical next progression of this conflation of created organizations with individual human identity. At the least, if political spending cannot be limited it should at least be transparent.
