Hi Tyrone, My name is Emily AKA Egroove. Let me hip you to somethin. The beautiful SoulSkool music, is not gone. Here’s what’s goin on, that they, don’t promote. I mean these bigwigs that wanna make money and promote the junk music to do it. There is a lot of beautiful Soul music going on on, it’s just that somebody needs to let the cat outttt of the bag. Well, let me be one of the ones, to help let the cat out of the bag. Check the following artists out. Some are Oldskool coming out with new music, some are Newskool comming out with music. Yes, the groove has changed, but, it’s a new day, new time, newer grooves, my thing is, it doesn’t have to lose the quality just because we’re in a new day. Gloria Ryann who can hit notes like Minnie Riperton, Adrian Younge who is a music genius and has done his own albums and has worked with underground Newskool and Oldskool artists, Bootsy Collins newer music, The Whispers newer music, Taja Sevelle’s newer music, Starpoint’s newer ballad Cosmic Stream where they took Renee Diggs’s vocals and put it onto another recording and it sounds beautiful, and we’ve never heard those vocals til now, Terry Dexter who does House and other music and sounds like Funk and Soul, Damfunk, Diamond Ortiz who sounds like Roger and Zapp but knows how to create too and not just coppycat, Moniquea, Terri Tobin, Alex Isley, Lalah Hathaway, Rina Scott, Ledisi, October London, Fantaazma who is commin out of Bootsy Collins’s camp and she can Sang! The Skunk Mob who does Funk, PTFI who does Funk, HER, Helen Bruner and Terry Jones, Shirley Jones from The Jones Girls newer music, Lori Jenaire who sounds a tad bit like Phylis Hyman, XL Middleton, and there’s some more I can’t think of right now. And, let me say somethin about this coppycat thing. There’s a difference between being influenced by music bands like Zapp and Cameo to create some beautiful music, and, taking the original music and infuzing it into your own. Me, I don’t like people who infuze original music into their own where it’s mostly the original music you hear and not their own. Now, Rock took from Funk, and later, HipHop took from Rock. Nothing wrong with learning from eachother, but there is something wrong, with playjurizing. Anyway, I love the interview, great job. I always love to know how The Original School of artists thinks of the Newschool artists. He’s right, it is too graphic and too violent. Ever since 1994, the music has been messed up. It’s gone from loving music in the 70s and 80s to angry ronchie boody music in the 90s all the way up till now. Butttt, if we pay attention, there is some beautiful music commin out now. What I don’t get, is when they started sampling everything in the 90s, why didn’t anybody say anything about it? I found out later, the artists who got sampled, had no problem because of the money. MOney money money money money, they take and destroy their parents creation, all for the money, the parents don’t mind, because they get payed after umpteen years, OK, that’s what they chose to do. All I say is, now, in this new day, enjoy the beautiful music of love, all of the beautiful music of love, both the Oldskool, and the Newskool. Much love.

On my opinion, Grandmixer DXT, Grandmaster Caz and Sha Rock tells the truth story about the first decade of Hip Hop. I love it when they tell the stories from back then because they where really there and they are honest.

Hi Christian, I hope that all is well. “Get Involved” is fire🔥 . Grown-Folk Soul/R&B. I love the flavor/style of the whole album. I have quite a few favorites. I enjoyed watching the interview, blessed and inspired. Thank you for truly being humble, down to earth, very relatable. Thank you for yielding your life/gits/platform to glorify God. Your testimony is very touching and very inspiring. Thank you for giving back helping aspiring actors and writers providing jobs. Encouraging on how to succeed.
