Hello Comrade! Thx for sharing! I see you have guts for Single Plan and hardcore playing. I have created hardcore maps with interactive surprises. Here is names on Steam (if I post link, YT will delete the comment) Winter driving [hardcore11] Friendly village. Not! [HARDCORE]

Thanks. This is a great educational tool It appears that the key to smooth plans like these is the good use of the "Wait" command. I really need to learn how to use that more frequently and more efficiently as my plans tend to have way to many Go Codes which have the nasty habit of overlapping and causing the plan to go haywire.
@tassie7325
@tassie7325 3 жыл бұрын
Seeking help. At the 9:33 mark, the Bravo Go code is issued at which point your Green dude throws a Flashband and all the other troops waited until the explosion occurred, rather than pouring into the room when the command was given, even though the door was already open. How do you get them to pause and wait like that? Cheers
@tassie7325
@tassie7325 3 жыл бұрын
It happens again at the 14:37 mark, this time without a Go code. The other members of the team wait for the guy to finish his engagement and throw the Flashbang before they move even though they are not at a Wait command. Its extremely useful to be able to do this but I can't work out how you do it.
@tassie7325
@tassie7325 3 жыл бұрын
OK. Now things are getting weird. At the 14:48 mark, one trooper waits 10 seconds and the second one waits 7 seconds without beining in any engagement and only move after the last guy arrives and goes through the door. How does that work without a Go code to hold them in place???
@mgosvig
@mgosvig 3 жыл бұрын
If you make the last guy in the formation be the first guy to enter a new room during the planning, the others who are ahead will wait at the door for him to enter first 😊.

@@mgosvig Thanks. That is a very neat hidden gem. I was amazed that it still works even if the door has already been opened by one of the insurgents. Top job and an awesome planning tip This will add a whole new realm to my planning process.

its not realistic. I mean, i see so many problems like passing doorways with the back turned. One person clearing a room where two should be needed atleast, gunfire with firendly in the way and so on. But, its a game, and this works... But i like to do it the "right" way :D

@GamersTrashTalk
@GamersTrashTalk 3 жыл бұрын
@@executioner7400 thoughtfull, never show your side or back to a window or door that isnt secured or held. I would not just let them walk and never stop, i would take and hold positions. The dude who made this video has tried this map more than once to make it so seemless What you see in the video, only works because its a game. I would probably use grenades more, and, or hold while others clear something els.. But as i said in my first comment. Its a game, so you can do whatever. I just like to play it more 'realistic', hence the "right" way :)

Been playing DK1 for a long time and got this game today, practicing and learning the controls and tactics, you can get a small map done in minutes, a "medium" map in about 10-20 min, and the huge maps 30+ (usually takes me 1-2h on the largest of maps to set up a 1 plan game) I seen some insanely fast planers set up huge maps in 5-10 min and get it done in the first try.... im no where near there but it is fun. Tho it more or less removes the "spy cam" as a tool in 99% of the cases where it would be useful... wish it could be planed for, i love that thing.
