Bad advice. Just because something has a lot of calories doesn't mean it's "not protein". Maybe someone is having a snack on the go or before a workout and wants the calories. There is nothing wrong with calories , it's calories that aren't used that are a problem. Protein flapjacks are for people who want a flapjack, but also want a little extra protein in their diet.

All diets work if you eat less than you burn. You just have to find the one that fits your lifestyle. Eating high saturated fats off a wooden chopping board isn’t one that fits mine, but glad you have found yours. Thanks for the comment.

it's called a refill, one day a week where you eat whatever you want, keeps the body happy and makes the diet easier because theres something to look forward to
@CraigJackson.Fitness4 күн бұрын
You're thinking refeed. But this isn't an eat whatever you want as it is very easy to cancel out an entire week’s deficit. Refeed normally allows some extra calories but isn't the same as a diet break. 😊
@midnightmusings81444 күн бұрын
@@CraigJackson.Fitness no, I do mean refill, as in carb refill for example. and I can tell you from practice, one day wont set back an entire week, it will stop the body from adjusting to the diet as the new normal.

Do you call it squash or juice? Whatever you call it it can help you lose weight. Most people are more likely to consume more liquid if it is flavoured than just drinking water. And often we are thirsty and not hungry, so grabbing a glass of squash each time you're hungry can see you through until your next meal when dieting.

Not just fish but any protein means but you naturally burn more calories than someone eating the same calories but made up of less protein. -Protein used 30% of calories consumed digesting and using it. -Carbs use 10% -And fat only use up to 3% Plus there are a mountain of benefits to eating more protein.

3 sets of 10 every week without failure is the reason you are failing to make progress. If you’re hitting your three sets of ten easily, you’re not challenging your muscles enough to grow. To build strength, you need to push past your comfort zone and aim for failure. This forces your type 2 muscle fibres (bigger stronger muscle fibres) to break down and rebuild stronger, which won’t happen if you’re always completing your reps without struggle. Push the weight, or reps, and give your body a reason to adapt.

Here’s why you shouldn’t cut out sweet treats when dieting: Removing your favorite snacks completely just leads to cravings, and feeling deprived makes it harder to stick to your plan. Instead, focus on smart swaps like pair foods, low calorie high volume with a little of your favourite treats.. You can enjoy your sweets without derailing progress. Simple tip to try today: - Pair a few cubes of chocolate with 200g fat-free yogurt and 10kcal jelly. You’ll get the sweet fix, plus volume, high protein and satisfaction without blowing your calories. Want more tips like this? Comment 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦𝟭𝟭 and I’ll send you my guide!

What should you do if you’re sick? Do you exercise or not? Something light, such as walk is fine, but your body is under stress fighting the infection. So tough exercise should be missed. Recover with rest and you’ll get back to the gym quicker that way.

Nothing needs cutting out, just moderating. Try pairing foods so you satisfy craving but don’t over consume. For example 250gram 0% fat yoghurt, 50gram frozen strawberries, 2 cubes of chocolate (grated), plus 10kcal jelly. Will fill you up, high in protein and the fraction of the calories than half a packet of biscuits.

Well another factor is carbohydrates which binds 3g of water per gram carbohydrate. Since crisps contain large amounts of starch that alone will bind a lot of water. Another point worth mentioning is that crisps also contains a vast amount of fat. Fat contains 9 calories per gram and the TEF of fat is as little as 0-3 % which will make crisps a bad choice of snack if you wanna lose weight.

Less isn’t more if it means you’ll look at the dog’s food and think “That smells nice.” Many are scared of eating carbs because social media has made them think it makes you fat. It doesn’t and potatoes are one of the most filling foods. Did you know that 1gram of potato is less than 1kcal. It’s approximately 0.872kcals. It’s how you prepare potatoes that adds the calories not the potatoes themselves. Including high protein and carbs will mean you’ll not want to snack between meals and you won’t devour everything in site by the evening. And you know what else is great for weight loss? Popping me a follow… 😜

You can’t live without it. Sodium (salt). But what you may not know is that salt causes our body to hold water weight. Causing a spike in scale weight and potentially freaking you out when all you did was have some crisps and a couple of other salty snacks. Don’t worry if you’re in a calorie deficit it won’t be fat, it’ll just be water. After a couple of days of eating normally again the water weight will go.

At 34, out of shape, and with a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old, the gym just wasn’t an option. Evenings were off the table-I didn’t want to climb that hurdle. So, I kept it simple: bodyweight exercises at home, 40 minutes, 3 times a week, and I tracked my calories. I kept it simple. Because simple works.

Calorie deficit isn’t important? You said you dropped yours by 1000 calories.
@CraigJackson.Fitness29 күн бұрын
Yes a deficit is essential. But I worked out my maintenance as I say in video and worked backwards from their rather than relying on a generic calculator. Hope that makes sense.
@CraigJackson.Fitness29 күн бұрын
The biggest mistake I see with weight loss happens after losing the weight. I had two clients start coaching together this year. Both hit their weight loss goals in 12 weeks. One said he was done, but I told him it was too soon. The next phase-learning to maintain and building muscle-is important, actually more so. But ultimately, I leave the choice up to them. The other client stayed, knowing that keeping it off and mastering each phase was key. Now, 10 months later, the client who left has reached out, needing help to “whip back into shape.” Meanwhile, the one who stayed? He’s maintained his weight, built muscle, and is now ready to go it alone. Weight loss is just the first part. Everyone forgets or doesn’t know it’s the least important part about a forever weight loss result.

This one thing does more for weight loss than you can imagine. Now of course you need to be in a calorie deficit to lose fat, but doing this makes it so much easier to adhere to your deficit. It’s drink more water. 💦 3.3 -4% is a good guide but for simplicity I mention 4% in the video.

The truth behind fat burners. Do fat burners works. Short answer is 𝗡𝗢! Longer answer is If you’re not in a caloric deficit you will not lose weight and the increase in metabolism from fat burners basically zero. Work out your calories to be in a deficit and eat in a deficit. The only way to lose weight. If you want me to work out your calories to put you in a deficit comment 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗖𝟭𝟭

Is more always better? 📈📉💪 Going from 3 to 5 workouts won’t give you 66% more gains- as diminishing returns kick in! 🚫 Too much training without proper recovery can even set you back. 💤 I train 4 times per week and this is the sweet spot of me, any more than that it affects my energy levels recovery and progress. Doing more doesn’t equal the same returns as effort input. Train smarter, not just harder.
