@@weliveincapetownDid you guys visit the FelsenKirche? It's open between 5 and 6 in the afternoon. Also you put the postcards in that postbox outside the Post Office? Oh dear, no. Did they arrive at their destination? That's a mistake many people make. That box is opened every few weeks or months. If you had gone inside to one of the tellers and handed them to one of the people then it would have taken about 3 to 7 days.

Exceptional place. I must add that a new 4/5 star hotel is to start construction soon. A 150 bed private hospital too will start construction soon. Luderitz airport to be upgraded to International Airport. That plan is included in the Luderitz Green Hydrogen infrastructure plan. Port expansion to start next Quarter. New hydrogen port to be built at Angra Bay. Just alot of investors that have knocked on Luderitz. Bank of Namibia too got land to build Branch there. New Mall to be constructed by Safland. I follow town council especially Honourable Mayor Phillipus Balhao. He is the magic man for Luderitz development. Kindly follow him for more on Luderitz. Luderitz is being prepared as the centre of The oil discoveries in the south. It shall be a very wealth Town in Southern Hemisphere with 10 billion usd Green Hydrogen investment. Aus too is included in expansion and benefit of services.

Hi There. It is so Awesome to see South African Vloggers reviews because it is so difficult when it comes to South African bookings. Very quickly, was this cruise holiday or a normal flight bookings. Also, did you use a travel agency and if so, which agency did you use. I have been on two cruises with MSC and I would like to visit a different destination now. So I am thinking of doing the Mauritius trip. Also, what is the rate of exchange in Mauritius? I have so many questions, but I will not bombard you with that now😁🤣 Thanks

Hey! I booked my flights through SAA and used the hotel shuttle. You can order taxi’s from your hotel if you want to go out and do stuff, the hotel will give you recommendations. The second time was a business trip so things were booked for me. Go to our blog and search Mauritius and posts will come up with more info :)

Which are the highways to avoid?
@weliveincapetown
@weliveincapetown 9 ай бұрын
It depends on where you are trying to do. From the airport - anything that isn’t the N1 or the N2. The issue is that Google maps tells users to take short cuts due to time, but it’s lead to a number of violent crimes so best to avoid.

I'm not qualified to really speak on this, but personally I'd say no. Mauritius is a small island with limited amenities, I think you'd struggle coming from a well equipped, developed world nation to Mauritius. May as well move to Hawaii and remain in the States.

Yeah we had a blow out getting to our lodge and didn’t want to take any risks using our spare tyre. The road was v bumpy but we saw a regular car flying down the road past us at one point. 🤣 So if you don’t mind hammering your car (if it’s a small car like mine) then go for it 🤭

@@weliveincapetown Thank you so much for your speedy reply, just 2 more questions if you don't mind, I think you said you paid $80 each for the ride to the Canyon, how long did they allow you to stay at the canyon before the man said, it's time to go back and did you have to pay to enter the park?

@weliveincapetown Жыл бұрын
@@NeverLostRoamer They were actually keen to leave us there and come back and fetch us (that seems to be the norm) but we didn't want to hang out TOO late as we had an early start the next day to try get the car fixed up. I think the R80 may have included entry...can't quite recall but there isn't a second pay point. You just go to Hobas, pay and then go down the road.

0:35 Please help settle a disagreement with my girlfriend and I. when you said 80 per person is that in US dollars or 80 Namiban dollars? Also would you say it is about a 10Km drive from the gate where you enter to the Fish River Canyon viewpoint?

I did go snorkeling in the east but there was so much coral we couldn't put our feet down! Which was a bit hectic as the water wasn't very deep either.
