Producers didn’t suggest “shock rap”. Eminem was on the crapper and had an epiphany about rapping like he doesn’t give a fuck anymore, birthing the Slim Shady persona. The only thing that his managers suggested was him wearing the plain white tshirt, blond hair, earrings, and baggy jeans.
