Great video as usual. Couple of points i would like to address: 1. I use DJK floats myself. Their slider range does not provide 7SSG float, 6SSG is the biggest float. So, in the video, it was a mistake and 6SSG is used for plumbing? 2. When fishing at 50m, assuming that 6SSG would be used, how to plumb the depth ? Because, there is no heavier float to use so that it will be undershotted ? I could take off 3 brass disks off a float but it is only 0.6g. I weighed them to be around 0.2g each.

As a it is essential that you have a mentor to help you stay accountable. In my case, Ann Marie strunk has guided me for months and I highly recommend her. I focus on her. To be honest, I'm almost hesitant to let someone take charge of growing my finances, but I'm so glad I did.

Wow I'm shocked you mentioned expert Mrs Ann Marie strunk, when someone is straight forward and good at what she does best. People will always speak for them.

Brilliant video. Watching that rod tip sure is meditating, that is the only thing you need to worry about, takes your mind off everything else. I had a good Christmas chub fishing. Got my pb chub on boxing day, 5lb 15oz! Would like a 6lb before the season ends. Lovely rods too, might treat myself to one next season

Cracking Video Mate! I Caught a freak 4lb 10 oz Perch From The Lancaster Canal ,On a 6oz live Roach by Accident Chasing PIKE ,This was when I think The Record was about 5lb to 6lb ,in 2001! So I started Chasing Big Perch on The Lancy ,Never had 1 as big as my First big 1 ,But had as many as 6 ,inbetween 2lbto ,3lb 4oz in 1 sesion ,Ive used every kind of Bait ,And in my experience, THE BEST BAIT BY FAR FOR A BIG PERCH ,IS A SMALL PERCH ,and chopped worm, mixed with mud ,and Red maggot as a attractive,!!

I tried cheese paste today. First time ever, usually fish with lures. Had a nice chub a fraction under 5lb. Another 3lb. Nice to get some success with a completely new method. If you’re catching plenty, but nothing over 5lb, most likely the stretch doesn’t hold them.

Great video! I've got the 10ft Specialist Quiver and it's the best Chub-Rod I've ever used. Would love to see a shorter version of it - 7 or 8ft for really tight swims.

Just a quick question please . You say it has a hooklength quick change swivel on but surely a loop wouldn’t fit through that long piece of silicone therefore defeats the purpose?

In my days of Angling times winter leagues during the 80,s and 90,s on various Canals in the North West it was virtually guaranteed that you would be ice breaking on at least 2 matches and despite what Alan says we had to take all our tackle with us including ice breakers , chains etc . 2 metres wide from bank to bank if possible but the North West Canals are generally no more than 14 metres wide so it was generally achievable.
