I would like to hear your paper/testing impressions. I wholly agree with you about the planner rat race, know one want works for you, and being “over it”. My only sticking point is that the most important part of my planner use is Weeks (2 or 3 qty.), and for the Menu one and somewhat the gardening one, a lot of what works about it is to use my already small handwriting and an Ultra Extra Fine Platinum Century 3776 to write a total essay-length memo on any random day of the Weeks, and it was not possible to do so with my 2024 Spring Start (the others were Jan. start, and of course fine.) Testing some of the .28 and .38 Uni Jetstreams, to see if I can get to a place of having other pens I can use with my planners. But, I sure prefer to use the Platinums I bought for that express purpose… Also! I was at Yoseka, checking out planners, and happened to look at a 2025 weeks, and really felt in the moment that it had the pre-spring 2024 paper in it! I was shocked! Is this possible??!??!1? I’m curious to know if all yours have the same paper, in your estimation. Finally, I am okay with 2024’s A&S and A6 Cousin. The new “white” TRS; I don’t prefer it, but I can deal with it. It was the cream weeks that I had various issues with! P.S. If I were shopping today, I think I would get Red “Colors” Weeks, that PAMM (Generous Ocean, was it?) Weeks, and then the one with the Tanzaku (I can’t remember the name; it’s the one with strips of paper hanging from bamboo, and it’s by the same illustration collection that is over 100 years old and on the freebee notebooks) and maybe a burgundy leather weeks. And an A6 cousin. Undecided if I will get a cover.

It only took about an hour when I was ordering at launch. The wait really wasn’t that big a deal and I got everything I wanted, including the Mina Perhonen I decided to get this year. I know this seems rude, but I think folks were getting a bit too dramatic about the system problems. It’s an incredibly busy website at launch so I have sympathy for their IT department because I’m sure they were scrambling. (Yes, I’ve worked on network systems 🤓 )

when you open your other weeks can you check for me to see if they also have a book mark cause mine didnt come with one :/

I ordered my hobonichi weeks from anderson pens and I didnt get a uniball jetstream :/ oh well

For the TWSBI Eco Rose Gold, I just pull the nib and feed out. And you can access the whole in the barrel just like your Diamond 580. I’m careful with pulling the nib and feed, and with sliding them back in. I have my Eco for a couple years with no issues. In fact, i’m pretty sure I’ve seen a video with someone like Drew from Goulet show how to swap the nib in an Eco. But, I love all the other tips you shared. You have a great channel! Thanks!😊

I got 3 new inks Last month J herbin Turquoise de Perce, Pelikan Edelstein Golden Lapis, Diamine Pumpkin Shimmer OMG its so pretty !!! and on top if it all I got like 70 new ink samples and several bottles to review so I think I'm good till the end of the year :) My favorite was Sailor Apricot and Uki Akari
