Hi Gordon, nice to have you back with another video.. great stuff. What a difference this has made, authenticity has improved so so much , the base, boots and spats in particular I think have really benefited. Well done for having the courage to attempt this👍. Great little kit to have on hand for such projects. Decent headsculpt and a good amount of relevant accessories. Classic film and I really do think this is a fantastic representation of the character and a great addition to your collection. Thanks for posting, I hope the robocop build is continuing apace? Hello Andrew! Thanks very much, I know I’m sporadic but it’s nice to get stuff out every so often! Yeah the more I step back, the more I can see the depth and realism, particularly pleased myself with the boots, gaiters and trousers. I tell you though, as much as I like to dabble in making stuff and painting, I was a bit nervous on this one, as make mistakes and that’s a £250 figure ruined! More Robo on the way now, planning to catch up on build / videos this week!

Hello, no straight from IKEA, although I’m in the UK and they are still available, don’t know about other counties, it’s possible it’s not a range which is available in all countries.

Hello, thank you for watching and commenting, I do very much appreciate it. The overall wall size is, 2.8m length that’s from corner of the room to the edge of the door The actual width of the kallax and blaliden is 2.3m The height from floor to ceiling is 2.3m Hope that is helpful.

Hello, well according to IKEA, each shelf has a weight limit of 3kg. I think that they could take a little more than that to be honest, but I wouldn’t risk anything more than say around 4kg. The bottom shelf isn’t glass, it’s the metal base of the cabinet, so I’d probably use the bottom section for the heaviest items.

Hello, no not 100% dustproof, but I’ll be honest, after 6 months I haven’t seen a lot of dust in the cabinet at all, there are not a huge amount of gaps in the frame and door. However when I do have to dust I have a little hand held hobby vacuum which I picked up from Temu, which gets the job done. I’m thinking on doing a follow up video on living with the cabinets and how things are going 6 months in, so watch this space and I’ll cover dust ingress.

Thanks very much, it’s one that I do find more difficult to pose, but it comes with some fantastic accessories so many many posing options. I’ll need to spend time tweaking mine, just don’t feel that I’ve got it right yet!

Delighted for you, as you say I think it really is random who gets a figure from TW and who doesn’t which is hardly a great business model😮. As for the figure, like yourself from a distance and in the round I think he looks more than decent, especially next to Billy Butcher they pair so well 👍. I too have been waiting forever for Wanda Vision Wanda which has been out such a long time now and even superseded by the release of another iteration of her in the guise of MOM Wanda. Like you I could pick up this figure elsewhere but why should I pay for two….. frustrating hobby isn’t it?. Always enjoy your videos, see you next with the robocop build? Hello, these were sold direct from Hasbro, check out Haslab, it was a kind of crowdfunded run, unfortunately no longer for sale from the manufacturer, but I’ve saw a few on the second hand market, so worth checking what’s out there on eBay etc

I am such a fan of the franchise, admittedly some pictures are better than the others but love the Trinity character. I confess I was not even aware of this piece, so so impressed by this🤩 delighted for you being able to track her down after such an extended hunt. Thanks Andrew! Its good to be back, and actually having some time to make content. The trinity piece was released so long ago, that i think a lot of people arent aware of this one. So glad i finally found it, and it lives upto all of my expectations, absolutely no dissapointment, and even better in hand. Yes wow 1K now, its not something i really focus on, as long as oneor two people watch my videos im happy, but i do feel like this is a milestone, and perhaps i'll need to take this a little more seriously and post more stuff! Robocop packages are building up, i think i have 10+ stages to complete with another box on the way, so will be doing that and posting in the next week. Thanks as always!

Very carefully!!! You are right, no wall mounts or fixings, but the cabinets are solid. The frame once built does give some robust stability to the cabinet overall, and when opening the doors, there is no real shake or movement in the cabinets.

Any issues with the Kallax supporting all of those cases? The Ikea website says the Kallax can only support like 60 pounds

Hello - No issues for me at all, and ive not had to modify or reinforce in any way. I used to have detolfs on similar cabinets for years which i believe were slightly heavier and again no issues.

Awesome video - I'm also using Blalidens although for a much smaller collection (at least for now). Love to see you picked up 2 Iconiq Patrick Batemans, not many collectors have those so I'm thinking those will eventually become pretty rare for fans of American Psycho. I always keep mine in the 'try getting a reservation at Dorsia now' pose but such a great idea to display a second without the rain coat

Thanks very much. I wasnt convinced when they phased out detolf and switched to Blaliden myself, but after building and setting the collection up i much now prefer them. The AP figures are great arent they! Best versions on the market, and the accessories and options for poses are fantastic.

Hello and thank you! the Helmets do fit inside the cabinets, but not with the stands, they are too tall with them! But they still look great without the stands. The only one i couldnt fit was Darth Vader, but everything else seemed to fit.

A mesh fabric is visible on the inside of the pants. This is typical for pleather. The sleeves of the jacket are too short. The clothes look wide overall.

Ah, thank you that makes sense, so its pleather and not leather, well you learn something new every day, thank you for the advice. I think you are right about the sleeves now that you point it out, probably just a fraction too short, but overall whilst its not perfect, its still a great figure.

I'm wondering if the colour difference is down to the nature of genuine leather not being uniform across all cuts of the material...combined with the way that dyes affect different cuts of leather. Like how tattoo ink can look different on different people? You maybe just got a particularly bad mismatch? Because mine looks the same between both jackets and pants. I do plan to weather the crap out of all of it though with some sandpaper. Especially around the exposed knee.

Hello - Yeah you could be right, i dont know myself, could be the tanning of the material or when they were weathering i would imagine they used some form of chemical process, which has stripped the colour out and give it a blue tint. I would imagine that the jackets and trousers (Pants) are done in batches separatley and put into big bins, so that when figure is assemled the person just takes a jacket from one bin and the trousers from another, hence why they would be different? Im not massivley upset about it, just think perhaps QC should of picked these up and ditched some of the bluer ones!

Thanks very much. I do like them myself, but they dont give you a lot of room in tight display spaces, so catch 22, personally for my collection, id prefer if they were smaller, as they are quailty bases, and it seems a shame not to be able to use them!

Thanks for watching and commenting - Yeah as i responded to another collector, i think each one will have variances, and some have been tailored and weathered in one way and others in another way, which is why they are not consistant. I would of expected QC to pick this up, but im not too bothered, in the cabinet with the lighting they match to a degree and look al black, so its all good

Hi it's a nice 3rd party figure I have it! The gray on the trousers is a wash, the outfit is all pleather good quality pleather but pleather! Looks great with the second DX13 head sculpt and it fits perfectly, with a little bit of customizing it's hard to tell the difference between it and the DX13! Nice review 😎

Thank you! Didnt realise at the time that this was pleather, i seem to recall that this was pitched as being leather which is why i stuck with that thought! Maybe i was mistaken. Good to know, so thanks for the steer. I think its a great figure overall, and OK its not a DX13, but its also not DX13 money! far more affordable and available.

Great stuff Gordon, glad Present Toys have come along with this offering, as you so rightly say the Hot Toys offerings of this version and the Tech Noir are hard to come by and even harder to justify the price tag💵. I do believe third party figures are improving all the time and provide viable options for collectors. No figure is a 10 although InArts Gandalf comes close😀. With this guy, whilst there are a few niggles perhaps, they are not ones that can’t be put to the side. I think in terms of the overall aesthetic and shelf presence this is a sure fire winner. Glad you were able to tighten the body , i hate when figures take a nose dive off a shelf😯. Another great addition to your stellar collection, hope you can still get a few more display cases as planned to ease the congestion 🤞Thanks for todays video , delighted you are keeping the content coming, always look forward to it and you are so very close to the 1k mark for subscribers which will be well deserved.
